Wonderful little cafe/cellar door. It comes with the opportunity to sit and take in pristine landscape views whilst partaking in their lovely produce.

Would recommend the Chardonnay as interstingly unique and the Shiraz has one of the fruitiest berry components I have encountered.

Delicious food! Incredible service!! Great location. Awesome views!!! We made a group booking for an 80th birthday party and took the entire Restaurant. We changed the layout (both internal and external) at the last minute. We added an extra table due to last minute unexpected arrivals and with 53 meals nothing was too much trouble and all went like clockwork. Lana and staff were incredible and I cannot speak highly enough of the trouble they went to to make our experience a special one. If you are looking for a top notch group booking venue for a Function or Party for family or staff McVitty Grove Cafe and Restaurant are as good as it gets on the Southern Highlands.

Mother's Day lunch today was a total disappointment. Set menu, bookings only and it still took 2.5 hours to eat three meals. We waited over an hour for mains, which were very underwhelming. We then we were rushed through dessert and not offered tea or coffee because they had booked our table for 2.30 and the guests had arrived! We ordered straight away when we got there for all three courses, when you have a set menu, with pre-determined numbers, there is no excuse for such a long wait. The waitstaff tried their hardest, but were completely run off their feet. Table water was not refilled and my brother had to get his own from the bathroom! Came time to pay and the eftpos machine wouldn't connect to the internet.

Very disappointing, hopefully things improve but we won't be rushing back to check any time soon.

2Nov16 Five years ago our friends got married here at McCitty Grove. Only 120 km or so from the North Shore of Sydney, and only a ten minutes drive from the little village of Berrima in the Southern Highlands, McVitty's owner / operator Phillip and his fiancee were wonderful hosts. The event started at 3:00PM carrying on to 10:00PM. Up to fifty of us, including the happy couple travelled from Sydney, New Zealand and UK to celebrate and share the happy event. McVitty Grove's chalet type atmosphere created by the superbly built reception and bar areas made the celebration shine with family love and happiness for the children, parents, relatives and grandparents who shared the afternoon and evening. Phillip and his fiancee closed the premises for this private event and the place was magic: the marriage ceremony itself, though planned for outside, was held inside because it was too cold and showers threatened, but their was plenty of room in the reception area. Dancing, speeches, even an Elvis impersonator all combined to make a marvellous evening served with great wine and a huge variety of foods throughout the evening. Topping it off were the staff: smiles personified and great service all afternoon and evening.

My girlfriend and I attended the opening day of McVitty Grove. Driving up to the restuarant was so pretty - that had us looking forward to the experience. The welcome we recieved was so warm and genuine, the view just gorgeous. The menu was so enticing that making a choice was difficult. I chose the Croquettes and WOW!!!! They were amazing!!!! I can't rave enough about the food, the service, the view, the atmosphere and the beautiful wine. We will be making it our place to go and we'll be taking our friends.

Local tapas restaurant, Feast at McVitty is set among vineyard with gorgeous views which amazingly stretch all the way to the Blue Mountains on a nice day. It makes the entire dining experience enjoyable and peaceful.
