Best place to have Indian fusion food in Sydney. I totally love their curry bombs and butter chicken.
Staff is very attentive and the service is pretty quick. Would love to visit again.
The chic Indian ambience is a bonus.
First time visit tonight with another couple who've eaten there at least five times before. The food was fantastic. We ordered the vegetarian banquet for two plus a couple of meat dishes and everything tasted exquisite. In fact there was too much food for the four of us. When they started to bring the banquet mains to the table we thought that only dessert was next, so we took it all home.
Would recommend highly and definitely visit again.
Thanks to the friendly, thoughtful and extremely attentive team.
Google rating of over 4 stars just goes to show you cannot always trust the experiences and the ratings of others nor google ratings for that matter. This place is more deserving of 2-2.5 stars. Particularly disappointing Indian food for a restaurant with 4.3 stars!
As highlighted in other reviews, there are far better Indian restaurants elsewhere in Sydney for quality of food and dining experience. Curry bombs were the only menu item that I would say stood out in terms of taste and imagination. Mains including the butter chicken and curry prawns is really ordinary! Simply put, I’ve had much better butter chicken and curry prawns served at my local Indian diner for a lot less in price. Gravy in the curry prawn dish was overpowered by tomato sauce.
I did like the music though I’d expect the music to be played in a trendy, up market bar. Place isn’t worth a second try.
Good atmosphere, Amazing Fitout, Great Food! Best Indian Restaurant I've eaten at by far. I definitely will be back with the whole family again! Actually I did but it was booked out haha. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed! *****
Have to say, I've become slightly obsessed with this place now, after only two meals there. Had a dinner with friends, delightful, and many gluten-free options (I'm celiac) to choose from - basically, all the mains!
Delicious, and distinct, spices between dishes, there's a real sense that they've crafted the food so when you have several things the flavours don't overlap. Even a standard like butter chicken has a richness and depth of flavour that was unexpectedly delightful.
[Adding to my original review from 2017, in 2020–have been a fairly regular visitor since my first trip just after they opened, and they just launched a new menu this week, which unsurprisingly, is even better than the old menu!]
