Wow. Busy Friday night we were looking for somewhere to eat. Stumbled across Mado Turkish restaurant and so glad we did. I've never had Turkish food before and didn't know what to expect. Wow the food was amazing, so tasty. The staff were lovely and the service was 5 star. I will definitely be returning to Mado restaurant. We had a variety of dishes, steak, chicken and a spinach pide. It was one of the best meals of had in a while. I would like to have tried a dessert but we had a show to get to. Mado Restaurant I loved it.

It's rare to find authentic food in Brisbane but this was really good. The meat is grilled to perfection and their skewers are big. The ambience is also good.

It would be good if they add 4 pieces of bread instead of 2? 😂 Those 2 bread pieces were shamefully small. The mix grilled platter may not be enough for everyone, so buying an extra skewer may not be a bad idea.

Tasty food. Entres with mains are a bit pricey. Attention from staff was a bit hard to get even though the place was mostly empty at the lunch time

An absolutely outstanding experience. We love Turkish food and have eaten it for years including in Turkey itself. The food is done brilliantly here and it really shines. Beautiful dips, bread and vine leaves, barramundi and calamari. It was all magnificent. A special mention for the iskender which our fantastic server Duygu explained was done the traditional way was the absolute highlight of a terrific night. The service was outstanding all night as Duygu was so careful, attentive and patient with us all through the meal. This is a beautifully run restaurant in a lovely down by the river. It’s a truly wonderful experience

They are rated as the best Turkish restaurant in Australia for a good reason. Everything was perfect for us that night. Food was superb, with highlights to the kebbe ( icli kofte) and the Krem Karamel for dessert. The service was top notch, food came fast and they were constantly checking back on us, even though the restaurant was packed (better to make reservations). The ambiance was also great and they did even have a belly dancer to end up the night. It was an amazing experience and we look forward to visiting again.
