One of the best Coffee places I’ve found on Toorak Rd. Very friendly and warm staff. Excellent croissants and good tasting well made coffee.

Yes, tastes as good as it looks! 20/09/2017:- The coffee was smooth and well balanced too. The unique cakes and pastries are superbly made and each flavour is discrete, tingly and sensational. Superb service (in very trying circumstances for he staff- amazing. Took home 2 others - also exquisite. Impressed.

Their cakes are amazing, all looks so colorful and cute! It is really great that they will switch up the cakes so it is almost like a surprise every time we come in! We normally come here for takeaway, never tried eating in.

Lux does super cute desserts and macarons, most of which look far too good to eat. I ordered "Be my love" which was a perfect, well balance dessert, with the strong, sweet flavour of the chocolate coating balancing well with the light raspberry sponge and mousse on the inside. My other half order the bread and butter pudding. The pudding itself was very enjoyable, but came with a very sweet custard which just tipped the balance of the dish, making it a little sickly. Coffee was pleasant, but a little too subtle tasting for my preference.

The seating area, with a window bench and large communal table works well, and makes good use of the limited space. Communal seating is so large it still feels as though you have space, and it's more of somewhere for a snack, than a place you would stay for a while. The marble table gives in a sleek and upmarket feel. Really enjoyable experience, with delicious sweets.

Perfect cake for a birthday celebration, staff went far beyond what was expected. Cake was amazing (Epic Chocolate Cravings) rich chocolate silky smooth and crunch base. Presentation was impeccable and birthday message was even written in a different language. Would go back again for sure.

    UPDATE 25/06/2017
It has lost its edge . Macarons were made "badly"for their standard, uneven size, small and filings weren't as smooth.

Very chic and rather small in size for a cafe but big on what they are offering .

It's a fusion of good old French patisseries and Chinese Malaysian expertise in making those sweet/dessert delights than a serious coffee hangout even with Toby's Estate beans at hand.

I notice their tea leaves selection is a must, next time . very good service too; pleasant and attentive.

Been back a few times since and still enjoyable.

The sweets are just as good to look at as they are to eat. Pure art form. Definitely worth visiting

We had the lolli cake. And it was delicious. This spot is the perfect spot for afternoon tea and coffee. It's a rather small but decorated very nicely..
