Great people. Good facilities. Love the new outdoor activities : leap of faith for 4, commando course, trampolines, archery and more. Inside a very cosy atmosphere with fire place in dining hall. Cabins are well kitted out with heating and ensuites. A great place to connect with nature and find peace.

As a teacher, I've been on many camps, but this is by far the best! The first thing you notice, is the warm welcome, we immediately knew this was going to be a fabulous experience. The layout is second to none. Excellent cabins, facilities & meeting area with a huge open fire. Then there are the activities - you could not ask for more! A 16m giant swing, kayaking, flying fox, frisbee golf, archery, commando course, leap of faith tower, olympic standard trampolines, basketball & volleyball courts, playground area, bucking bull, indoor games area, giant checkerboard & a Shrek bridge. The staff here are incredible, the way they spoke to the children, was respectful & encouraging at all times. They really live up to their high values. Grant taught them how to create a fire, make damper, & build a bush hut, as well as all about the farm animals - the sorts of things some kids never get to experience. On top of all this, was the fabulous food, & amazing atmosphere around the bonfire, or on the night walk to see abandoned mine shafts. There is so much to do outside the camp as well. Sovereign Hill was excellent, and the night show, Blood On The Southern Cross, was fantastic. The M.A.D.E. Museum is well worth a visit, even just to see the original Eureka Flag - what a treat to know it has been preserved. I could not recommend Log Cabin Camp highly enough & would like to once again, thank the staff for the best few days we've had as a school group!

Excellent spot for a school camp. Facilities are a bit run down in spots, but are being upgraded over time. Includes a Giant Swing, Flying Fox and Leap of Faith.
