Description

Welcome to Live Life Health Services.

We are a group of psychologists who are enthusiastic about helping people overcome obstacles and live the life they want, which explains our name! We provide support to children, adolescents, families, couples and adults regarding a wide range of issues.

People consult psychologists for all sorts of reasons. Psychologists are highly trained therapists who help people function better in their life and prevent ill-health and other problems from developing. They allow people to find more successful ways of handling everyday life problems. The majority of people seen are well adjusted, and are going through a stressful period, or are struggling with a big change or decision.

Psychologists provide an objective, supportive, confidential environment for people to communicate openly, express feelings, and resolve issues without judgement. They help people identify the cause of their difficulty, and gain skills and knowledge to change problematic aspects of their life, without the need for pharmacological intervention.

Psychologists use observation, interviews and tests / questionnaires to understand peoples’ issues. They use many different psychological treatments and counselling techniques, and will tailor these to suit the individual and presenting issue(s).

Psychologists are guided by a code of ethics, which sets guidelines about professional conduct, responsibilities and confidentiality. All psychologists are registered with the Psychology board of Australia, in the same way that medical practitioners and solicitors are registered.
