Description

Live in the Now Foundation was created to support all those who have been affected by any form of cancer, as cancer is unbiased, so is the foundation as we support men, women, the youth or elderly and careers alike.

The founder Kerry Reinhold herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 and during this time Kerry forged a relationship with Cheryl Baxter her Breast Care Nurse, where after much discussion, they passionately believed there were 2 areas that could be improved upon for those affected by cancer:
1. Programs promoting well-being through fun, whilst also being informative and innovative.
2. Understanding Medical and financial costs involved and navigating through the health and financial systems.
With Kerry’s experience in Finance combined with Cheryl's medical experience as a nurse having supported countless patients they saw a need to address some vitally important areas.
To achieve this the “The Live in the Now Foundation” was created, with all net profits being distributed back into the community.
A major purpose of the foundation annually is to raises much needed funds to support the "Happy Day Conference".
This day has been extraordinarily successful due to its innovative and inspiring approach to cancer that has never been seen before.
This one day is reliant completely upon generous sponsors, every day people who donate their time, money and skill.
The "Happy Day Conference" success is due to a combination of real life experience mixed with fun and inspiring tips to provide all attendees with additional tools, mindset and inspiration to manage their own and or other’s cancer journeys.
In the haze of doom and gloom that can suffocate all who are affected, this day offers a sanctuary and positive well being experience to guide them as to how to feel better during and after treatments, how to help themselves and or others, empowering all to have happier and more positive lives long after the sun goes down on that one amazing day.
