The boys at Jax were simply the best. After having trouble with fitment and being treated by other big brands (bobjane & beaurepairs) out there like trash I finally found Jax tyres cairns as an answer to all my problems. They were open, empathetic and emotionally engaging. I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Thanks guys!

No happy. No consultation regarding tyre type or price, told would take 1hour to 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours and 45 minutes later I got my car. It sat for approx 20 minutes outside before I was called to counter. Asked about delay and told 1 staff short, suggested they not book in so many jobs, reply was - "I didn't book them in so it's not my problem." Also had spare tyre worked on, but not returned to storage area (under the car). Won't be going there again and definitely NOT recommending to anyone.

UPDATE
July 20. Received call from Michael apologizing for my experience. Told me if I needed anything done with my tyres, to come back and I would be looked after.

What a pleasant surprise! I really appreciate his apology and would be happy to return. This is great business practice as it shows they do care about customer satisfaction. Well done.

I brought in some brand new Rays Te37s to the guys. I explained how expensive they were and how important it is to me that they don't get scratched. I was assured they have the latest machines and that there will be no scratches.

I asked about balancing, and if they could hide the wheel weights, they said they would place them at the back of the rim so they cant be seen.

I explained that the Rays came with their own special valve stems.

When I came to pick up the wheels, I found three of the four had been scratched, the wheel weights only on the back of one, the other three on the front and finally the Rays valve stems were nowhere to be found.

When I confronted them, I was told that's how it is, of course they would be scratched. They forgot about the wheel weights halfway through and finally, had forgotten about the valve stems.

The valve stems were fitted after the fact, but the wheels were not re balanced.

Needless to say I will only ever return to Jax Cairns to give them a bill for the repair of the paint on my wheels.

Totally dissatisfied.

Cheapest new tyres I could find in cairns. Friendly and professional service. Free WiFi and coffee in an air conditioned waiting room. Only reason it's not 5 star is the wait time was longer than I expected.

Awesome price. However I had to wait well over 2 hours for a tyre fitting that I booked in advance. Best to just leave the car there for the day and get a lift. The tyre fitting and wheel alignment was very good. No issues there.
