I celebrated my son's birthday in India Gate restaurant. The food was very tasty, the staff was very prompt, friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making our day special.

What can I say other than you MUST visit Indian Gate during your stay in Warnambool.

Staff were as perfect as you would want.

Butter Chicken - best over ever had 5/5.
Rogan Josh - melt in your mouth 5/5.
Coconut rice - full of flavour, although the shaved coconut on top isn't needed 4/5.
Garlic naan - Devine, full of flavor 5/5.

Fault - plastic table cloth is very tacky and the temperature inside the restaurant was far to high!!!

Very minor faults considering the awesome meal.

It was as pleasure and we will be sure to return when next in town.

I like the intimate, cosy atmosphere. The food is always really good and you get served very quickly. BYO is a bonus.

I stopped eating there in 2012 because the food was a less than ordinary. I recently returned about 6 months ago and the food is now at top quality. I'd highly recommend this to anybody who likes good quality Indian food

Although its decor is a bit outdated, India Gate provides some of the best Tandoor cooked and Mughali dishes that I have eaten in Victoria. I'm unable to speak for the entire menu, but the Burrah kebab, Tandoori Chicken and seekh kebab, are especially memorable. At least in these dishes, India Gate easily competes with the best in the state. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant and ordering these dishes.
