Hotel Hotel - THE place for people people! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Hotel, and my experience was a remarkable one. Upon walking into the reception area (which carries through to Monster Kitchen & Bar) it is evident a lot of thought has gone into the overall concept of this hotel. Arriving at the front desk, I was greeted by Ebiyan from the concierge team. He took care of my bags, valet parked my car & was readily available to action any request throughout my stay. There was nothing this man couldn’t do for me-seriously good service.
After the pleasant & quick check in process I was directed to my room, which was nothing short of exceptional. I have attached some photos, but these do not do it justice. The bathroom, in particular the bath, was just amazing. The bed was so comfortable and the view of the interior private garden was lovely. The room layout was functional, with well-considered décor giving the space a luxurious feel. From a design point, the room could not be faulted. This excellent attention to detail was noted throughout the whole hotel, from the foyer, dining & bar space, right down to the room itself.

Stayed here a few times in various rooms and suites. All the rooms and suites are well presented, and clean. Rooms on the lower level tend to be quite small, so great for individuals staying for work, but more than one person in the room would make it a squeeze in some places. Suites are great for more than two (all self contained with kitchen and laundry), lack of air conditioning in suites can be annoying when the humidity is high. Be prepared for a lot of bare timber!

Room is dark and not enough light. Not much space and not good if you need to work in the room. No door on shower so water will splash everywhere around bathroom and toilet. Overall. Service is good. Facilities, other than the above, are decent and comfortable.

Very good place to stay, beautiful furnished room , restaurant and lobby, friendly waiter. near ANU and parliament house. One thing to concern is the extremely narrow parking porch at the front gate.

Really loved the hotel design, my husband and I have stayed in this hotel. I have never been in such a beautifully designed hotel before. Super creative approach to everything. Definitely worth checking out. The only down side was that the check out time was at 11am and check in at 3pm, I think it is waaay pushing it considering you are paying for all 24h. We has a breakfast in the lobby cafe and we have waited for our extra hot coffee for 40min (which arrived just warm) and about 1h for our food. It really ruined a bit out amazing experience with the hotel so far. I would definitely would stay there again, but will not be having breakfast there for sure!

Stayed the night in an upgraded room 204. Also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant (Monster). The stay was great. The decor is very industrial and dark (almost like a sci fi movie set). When they say they are validating your parking it just applies a 50% discount (not free).

Trying to be trendy, design over function doesn't work.
Too dark, impractical and confusing. The service at restaurant is also very average. A service culture needs to trained here. Lipstick on a pig really.
Food was tasty for dinner though a good mix of morrocan and bar style foods. Just was let down by the ordinary service.response / report this review -

Nice trendy hotel in a good location. Was disappointed with the view from the room though. Although booking 2 months in advance with a lake or mountain view we ended up with a view of the road, for nearly $400 a night we expected much better; we received a bottle of wine for a sorry but they couldn't change the room, fully booked apparently.

Exceptional hotel room, the hotel room has a powerful shower with Aesop products. Very large shower space is amazing. Friendly front desk girl called India. King size bed. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Strangely designed, quite small apartments, interleaved amongst owner occupied apartments. Better than a lot of accommodation options in Canberra, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. Restaurants within easy walking distance are all on the pricey side (although some serve excellent food).

Definitely recommended for travellers who come to Canberra for the first time. Good location for shopping, fantastic view, nice room service and of course very beautiful interior design. Ideal choice for most tourists.

Amazing hotel, would definitely recommend this to all who are visiting Canberra! Staff were amazing and the room was beautiful. Such a great vibe and the bar down stairs was awesome. Only downside was when I booked the man on the phone got my last name wrong and missed that I also wanted a bottle of wine ordered but staff were quick to apologise about this so I didn't mind to much. The building as a whole was incredible and the design was one of the best I have seen. Will be staying here from now on!
