Extremely happy with the service I received when I bought my first bow set. As with most people, I decided to buy a cost effective bow for my first as I am just starting. Hoddywell was actually the third shop I went to, I as I live in Perth I went to the other two shops within the metro region and they either had bows that were too expensive for a beginner or had nothing at all.

I then took the drive to Toodyay to visit Hoddywell and I am pleased that I did. The shop assistant was very professional and it was a pleasure to do business with.

They also have an online store which I will use later on :)

Family focused, heaps of recreational archery stock.

I would like to say thank you to Hoddywell archery for all their advice when it came to my purchase.

I told the staff member that I had never owned a bow set before and only tried archery a few times in the past. Good service and I bought a complete bow setup that best suited my needs and budget.

The drive from Perth does take around an hour but I still recommend coming to Hoddywell. (Remember people in the Wheatbelt buy archery gear too.)

PS: Even though I'm a customer, I still use manners and be courteous. I work in a customer service/retail roll as well and have my own best and 'bad stories' to tell - (in reference to another review).

After trying many activities in Perth and just out of the metro area we tried having a go at archery. I mentioned that I was interested in archery at work and a co worker suggested Hoddywell. We went there and had an enjoyable time. Couple of weeks later I became interested in buying my own archery equipment, being lazy I guess I went to other archery shops closer in Perth. When I went to Hoddywell a couple of weeks before I did visit their shop and it was packed full of stock - so going to other shops I was expecting another fully stocked shop but all I saw where small shops with little - and expensive gear for sale. I decided it was best to go to Hoddywell again to buy my archery set up, very friendly service and very good pricing.

Ideal place for archery equipment. I haven't been there physically since September last year, I use the webshop more now as I live in east Perth and it's bit of a trek out to Toodyay. Post time is reasonable. Would recommend to people looking to get into archery, would love to visit there again.

Hi after reading other reviews i decided to go there and upgrade my bow .imade it well clear to the salesman that i had never been fitted for a bow and that this was the reason for coming into the store i traveled 700kms to do this after a night shift . Well i got the bow but didn't get the service never measured draw length. Placed the nocking point in the wrong spot the drop down arrow rest could not drop had to come back to get a pep sight put in .so after all this my wifes new bow will be sorced from another store and i will not be going back to buy anything from them im very disappointed with the service for the amount of money that I spent.i was under the impression that this was a professional archery store.(ps and as for the damaged hard case for the bow was told that i could thank australia post for that and didnt even offer a discount)
