This restaurant's staff and management behaviour is exactly like roadside Dhaba in India.
You walk into this old building with very tacky interior and furniture. It doesn't even feel like a restaurant its more old canteen some where in third world countries and very depressing.
If they would like run like this then it is okay but they should charge same as a good restaurant.
You have to wave to passing by waiters to get their
    Attention.
They don't your spice level but serve you how they want.
MAIN THING MADE ME WRITE REVIEW WAS THAT OUR DESSERT WAS SERVED IN A DISPOSABLE PLATES WITH DISPOSABLE SPOONS.
So the got low that you feel like they don't care just want your money.

Himalaya was one of my favorite restaurants. But after this experience I will not try again. It was busy at that time but that restaurant is always busy. This time the service was horrible, we had to call for service 5 time back fore someone turns up.

After entree they took really long to even get mains. Our hunger was dying, so we canceled one dish. But they brought that dish only that we canceled and said we need to wait for other dishes and bread. So the dish was sitting on table getting cold and we can't consume as there is bread.

When we complained about it, then they brought other dishes straight away. But all those dishes are undergoing so we couldn't. Insane them at all. When we complained about it they just said we are busy and went away. We didn't bother fighting anymore.

It's losing its quality now. I heard it from other friends too after my experience.

I went to join baby shower party today of around 175 people at Himalaya Palace Granville. Very short staff so was very sluggish service. Not only that in toilets hand dryer was there but not working, paper towel holder was there but no towels inside. Tap water was continuasly leaking. No hot water. Made me feel for those 2 hours like i was in Pakistan...very bad experience.

We recently had a birthday party at Himalaya Palace, Food was delicious and in variety, the place was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and the management was very accommodating. They even provided nuggets and chips for children as a bonus. Our guests gave an excellent feedback and we ourselves were extremely happy with their services. I would strongly recommend others to hold functions at Himalayas.

Authentic Pakistani food. Not Indian, actual Pakistani food which is a mix of Persian, middle-eastern, Afghan, central-asian and Indian food. Just make sure you get some thing from all the courses. Plus the price is not bad at all. The ambience has room for improvement, but it's a small price to pay

Very much amazed from the negative reviews here.
We tried the restaurant today for the first time, the staff are so friendly including the lady in the counter. Excellent food, good service, clean bathroom.
    Tasty curries, appetizers, and desserts.

As part of a biracial Indian Australian couple my husband and my self have eaten Indian food most of our lives and in hundreds of restaurants in different continents around the world. I have to say this is the worst ever experience in a restaurant I have ever had.

. The food tasted like they had taken a cheap curry paste from the supermarket and put the meat in it and heated it in the microwave. I had to drain off a thick layer of pure grease onto a side plate just to try and make the dish edible. My Husbands nan bread was rock solid so much so that I could hear him crunching it from across the table so it was obvious that it was from a supermarket and had been overheated in the microwave. The waiter continued to stand at the cashier staring at us through the whole duration of our visit. We left with only eating one spoon of food and some rice after we saw 2 cockroaches on the walls. The tables were filthy as were the cutlery, plates, and chairs.

This the worst, dirty and filthy place you want to dine in Granville. This place gave me diarrhea, vomiting and gastro because they sell junk food, specially don't buy any curry. price is so high. Very rude customer service. The girl in the front counter was rude and she have no idea how to talk to people. Most the staff are rude and ignore customer. They think they are still in Pakistani village. I would rather go to Harris park because there are many Indian restaurant at better price. I lived in Granville for 17 years but never seen such rude and grumpy staff in any other shops like this Pakistani restaurant.
Harris park is far better and cheap.

This is the ideal place to eat and commend your valuable minutes with your family and companions. We were there a weekend ago as one of our companions prescribed this eatery. We are truly thankful to him that he has demonstrated to us the ideal place where we can savor a portion of the finest Indian and Pakistani dishes, both veggie lover and non-vegan

I was kind of hesitant at first but later I felt glad that I came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The people here are very friendly and they help you choose the best Asian dishes that can bring a smile on your face.

Since my family never had any Pakistani or Indian food before so I asked the waiter to help us choosing the best from the menu. We had Bombay beef and Chicken Sagwala as well as many other dishes that night.

Everything was very good and after finishing the food I thought that next time I am going to try the other dishes which also were fantastic according to the waiter. Had an amazing experience and would love to go there gain

I was here at this restaurant with my wife on our wedding anniversary and we have had spent a beautiful time relishing some mouthwatering dishes in a great atmosphere. This place has a different vibe of happiness and relaxation that I have never felt anywhere else.

You can enjoy some top Indian foods at amazingly affordable rates and this is another reason for which I go there to celebrate any occasion with my family. The chef knows the trick to create some great dishes that pulls people from various corner of the city to this restaurant. This is a place for food lovers and the dishes here are made with spices that you can smell when the food arrives on the table.

In all, amazing food and great services to make you come at this place again and again!!
