Good job guys happy with the experience at this shop everything went smoothly half hour to change my tyres and it was bussy .

TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS!!!
Ok even typing this review seems insane to me, had some tyres done on a Saturday was told by a worker behind the counter that my territory would not require a camber kit during a wheel alignment and that my steering wheel would be straightened up no worries, the guy on Saturday said there was heaps of adjustment in my territory and that a camber kit was unnecessary, even though my tyre wore down to the wire on the insides but outer tyres were fine.
Fast forward to the next Thursday after having some front end work done by a great local mechanic it was time for a wheel alignment.
Arrived at highway tyres doveton and spoke to an older worker there, told him about my previous conversation with a worker there on Saturday and TRIED to CLARIFY if a camber kit was necessary or not , the worker who's name was KEVIN ( asked his name as to write the review properly) said mostly the opposite and said there is only some adjustment and that he couldn't guarantee a straight steering wheel, the way he put it was that you will be getting what you are given type of vibe, but more importantly it was the way he said it!
Ok I thought I might just ask some questions ,as expected totally confused now!
"Ok so the car will need a camber kit then?"
KEVIN "it may or may not, PHONE NUMBER?" not looking at me just his screen.
"Uhh so will you be able to straighten my steering wheel?"
KEVIN " can't be sure but we can only do our best, KEYS?" Still not making eye contact and for some reason trying to rush the whole process even though it was only myself and one other customer and 3 guys behind the counter!
"But your worker on Saturday told me"
KEVIN " I've only been doing this 28 years, you could just do the alignment YOURSELF, if you want!!!!" ( yeah ok Kevin you knuck fuckle I'll do it myself on my wheel alignment machine at home!!!)
KEVIN Grabbed the work order and rushed out the door in a huff.
Me " but hang on. does that mean I'll need to spent another $500 on a camber kit after this alignment????"
All I saw was KEVINS arse and elbows as he turned his back and ignored me!!
In shock at what just took place I went over to my wife who said what's wrong with that guy? I said I was just asking some questions and trying to figure out what I needed as not to waste my hard earned and we decided that best not to go ahead as he was just so dam rude!
Went in to find out the guys name and heard him trying to justify his poor behaviour too his co worker

AH KEVIN NO!
After 28 years in the business you think you would know BASIC customer service, be POLITE, LISTEN, and make EYE CONTACT!!!!!
Basically if you want to be treated like a piece of dirt and ignored for having any concerns or questions go to highway tyres Doveton
KEVIN made me feel like I was a dog..that had aids!!!!!!!
I'm going to be cowering in my shower screaming "I'm still dirty" to get over the treatment I received by Highway Tyres Doveton, thanks KEVIN.
It's such a shame for the other hard working staff there to be let down by such a loose cannon.the tyre fitters all seem like great blokes.
Shame on the management who never even apologised for this disgraceful treatment of a human and a customer!!!response / report this review -

Highly recommend, great experience all round and honest guidance on what your next tyre could be. Fast turn around, they also give you a job report on the wheel alignment. Fantastic

So poor customer service. No communication between staff. They don't know what they are doing. If you have an European car, definitely don't take it over there or any other major services or repairs highly not recommended. One staff was saying they do European car but when you take the car in they will freak out and eon't know what to do. And the manager doesn't have respect for customers at all. He just hang up the phone after swearing at you. Very unprofessional handling customer issues. They shouldn't accept any other work other than oil changes and tyre replacements. Very disappointed and never would take any of my cars back. Highly not recommended.

The sales guy on pickup was very arrogant and argumentative telling me that my tyres were on incorrectly with my rs3. I.e. large tires at the front and not at the back however that's how the car was developed.

UPDATED.
Have used them for many years for my tyres, however just had them pull the old fashioned mechanic trick of confirming a price on the phone, then increasing it after the work was done. Hope the $70 was worth it, Kevin, because I won't be back.
If you must deal with them, get your prices in writing before handing over the keys.
UPDATE: The other gentleman there(with the English accent) was very apologetic and offered me a discount on my other two tyres, but I had already organised them elsewhere. They tried to do the right thing afterwards, so I'll amend it to a 2 star, but the trust is gone. Office staff were friendly. Only positive. I had 4 provided 4 bare wheels (no stripping) and 2 tyres, so bought 2 more tyres and had them all fitted. This was a 20 minute job which I waited 2.5 hours for them to start, despite on the phone saying 'just come down anytime' Then on top of that charged $25 each to fit and balance the two tyres I provided, I understand you have to charge but $50 for literally 10 minutes of work without having to strip or dispose of tyres is ridiculous. Will not visit again.
