Great eco period style cafe with tasty food, but continues to produce not only lack luster coffee and tea. Come for the food, but have a Nespresso at home beforehand.

We visited over cup weekend for a quick brunch. Definitely the nicest looking cafe in Halls Gap.
I had the Croque Madame which was absolutely divine and I hope it stays on the menu. Best meal I had all weekend.
The coffee on the other hand was very disappointing. Really bitter, and the froth was all bubbles, no creaminess to it at all. I sent it back for another but same story. It was undrinkable.
This seems to be a consistent story in your reviews, I hope you take the constructive criticism on board because it really lets the place down.response / report this review -

Great staff. A very warm and comfortable place. The setting is beautiful and I found the cafe to have great breakfast with reasonable price compared to the rest of the cafes in the area

Excellent food, pleasant staff, coffee needs to improve to get 5 stars. The coffee wasn't terrible, it just wasn't what it was cracked up to be.

Great food, drinks and service. Had to go back again today after I went yesterday. Recommend the bacon and egg roll. Thanks for everything, and will be returning soon!

Great coffee, thanks Melanie. This place is a gem. Staff are lovely and the fit out is warm and modern. This is where the locals go. We come to HG every year in September and we look forward to coming to Harvest and sitting by the window and enjoying the view.

Came here for coffee on Saturday, staff were lovely. Decided to come back for a relaxing breakfast on Sunday before heading back to Melbourne. Big mistake. The barrister was clearly in a mood. He came out to adjust one of the tables practically threw it over then slammed chairs around. Then proceeded to aggressively bang everything in his path. Poor waitress looked frightened. Other customers were clearly uncomfortable. Coffee also took forever to come out. Think about your patrons and maybe get some anger management training!

A must-do while visiting Halls Gap. The lovely staff serve up delicious coffee and food to tables on the beautiful deck in the sun. On your way out grab amazing local produce for later. The St Martyr blue cheese is to die for!

Stopped in for a late lunch, was greeted by a cheerful staff member, whom was polite and friendly.
Ate a pumpkin wrap, with a latte. Both were lovely.
Food was served to the table within 5 minutes of ordering.
Almost impossible to fault this place, I would definitely recommend it for those staying at one of the many hotels nearby.response / report this review -

Coffe was great. Breakfast was good also however pouched eggs where a little hard but this was put right straight away. Good service and good people.
