I’ve been taking my rats here for a couple of years now and they are the most empathetic, caring and cheapest place I have ever been. Based on what they’ve charged me over the years I have no idea how they stay open! You can expect a bit of a wait (often an hour or so) because they’re very busy but it’s worth it to know my pets are so well cared for at a price I don’t have to stress over

Great people, took great care of my cat 😻 they offer free chocolate to humans in the waiting room and free treats for your pets. They called me a day after her surgery to check up on her and their prices are really, really good.

Very caring, genuine staff and Vets. Very compassionate and when my 2 dogs had to be put to sleep a few years apart, Hanly Vet did'nt charge me anything and sent us condolences cards and a keepsake gift.
That;s very kind and generous of them to do that. Thank you Hanly Vets and staff.

I scheduled an operation today for my Frenchie for a soft pallet surgery. Took a day off work and brought my dog in in the morning, told me surgery will be done at around 4:30pm. I waited all day and gave them a call at 3:45 to ask if he needed to hospitalize etc. The nurse told me my dog is still operating, and asked to give them a call back at 5:00pm. 4:00pm they gave me a call and told me they had an emergency situation today so they couldn't operate my dog.. So nothing got done all day and somehow they just realized they didn't have enough time to operate my dog at 4:00pm? My dog starve all day without water and food and they literally just told me to reschedule for another day because they had an emergency situation, which they could've told me that they didn't have enough time way earlier. Nurses on the phone didn't even sound apologetic about it. DO NOT bring your dog there because they are a bit cheaper than other places, because their doctors and nurses don't seem to care much about your pets at all.

We went to this vet with our dog who had an ear infection. They initially decided on doing an ear flush and medicated drops. Almost instantly after spending $800 on this they then said it didn't work and he needed a $2000 surgery. We went to get a second opinion and were told that he did not require surgery and simply needed specific antibiotics. Hanly Vet could of found this out if they ran a simple laboratory test rather then guessed what his problem was.
We saw 2 vets and both were in such a rush that they clearly didn't care about each individual patient. We would never go back here. Also the hour plus wait time is a bit ridiculous.

I took two 6 month old female foster kittens to be desexed. I had chosen Hanly as they were offering fantastic value desexing. When I picked up the two girls I was disgusted. Firstly they had were unable to move. I wasn't able to speak to anyone or given any service it was take them and leave. When I got to the car I checked them. They were so bruised and bloated, their poor little tummies were agony. The swelling was unbelievable. I took them to my usual vet. I found out the medication they had been given would not help them heal. They ended up needing opiates the pain was so severe they also needed a course of antibiotics. I let these beautiful girls down by going for a cheap desexing. I will never forgive myself. I also will never forgive Hanly and I will never recommend them. Since then I have met with many people that have been through similar with Hanly. I have also spoken to people in the veterinary field who know of Hanly and stories like my own and worse. BEWARE!!! Always put your animals first.

Gary, Dariusz and the rest of the Hanly Staff are absolutely wonderful. We have received great care and veterinary services over the years. Thank you for your condolences for the loss of our big mate 'Nugget'. We will no doubt see you in the future when we decide to get another addition to our family. Many Thanks, Fran and Louis x

I do not trust anyone else with my pets. These Vets are all about your animals not what money they can squeeze out of you.
They are one of the very few veterinary clinics that know about ferrets and I will not take my pets, (dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits) to any other vet.
You may encounter a bit of a wait to see the vet during peak times, but so what? Take a book! It's either worth the wait to you or not.
I have no idea what these people are on about with the bad reviews, I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.
The staff have all been very compassionate on the occasions I have lost a pet, and genuinely care about your loved ones.
