If you intend to host your wedding day on Hamilton Island please be aware that it is a privately owned island and you can't bring in outside professionals to work at your wedding. There is a link on their website of things you "Need to Know" which you should read carefully.

I know someone who booked her wedding here and she was not aware she could not bring in her own photographer until a few months out from her wedding. I have also heard this from two other people since which makes me believe there is a lack of communication going on about this restriction.
