They charge like a wounded bull but I don’t feel they deserve it. If your tax is simple do it yourself on the my gov and save yourself some money. If you have investment properties these guys will slug you a hefty free. I find I’m better going to a premium accountant as they charge the same

Darryl ward (the manager) is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across, he is a liar. He agreed to do my tax return and didn't lodge the supplied documents. On a call when I got a large tax bill he said he had lost the documents and couldn't contact me because he forgot to get my number. Countless calls after providing these documents once again, he had said I have to wait at least 56 days for a reply from the ATO. After 7 months I got fed up with no contact being made from Darryl to myself after countless times trying to get a hold of him via phone and email. So again, I've had to go in store. After following up with him, immediately after I followed up with the ATO who said they never received anything, they even had records of the countless times that they had tried to obtain the documentation from Darryl and they had to close the case because they didn't receive anything, after confronting him with this new information he called the ATO liars. It's been 7 months since I first walked in there and paid upfront, I'm still yet to receive my return because the incompetent manager Darryl is still yet to even submit my documentation but he is happy to lie to my face about doing his job and has been very unprofessional in doing so. After asking for a refund because he hasn't done what I paid upfront for him to do, I haven't heard a word - not surprising. He has taken my money and not provided a service AT ALL. Do not go here - run the other way.

$150 for about 10 minutes work. A lot of questions were not asked so I was given the maximum rebate I would have been entitled to. I would have been better off doing it myself. I won't be returning to thisH&R Block ever

I would definitely recommend Sandy King. She was efficient, professional and very friendly. I was very nervous because I had a few years worth of tax returns to do; but she put me at ease straight away, and made everything super easy. I was super impressed and will definitely be back next year.

The H& R block in 814 Albany Hwy, East Victoria Park WA 6101 has a very unprofessional person working there named Darryl Ward. it is about 2-3 years ago that we were still in student visa. The service was not good at all. the person told me that he has 19 years of experience and he did not put our Saving account money in and we got fined 1000 AU $ for that next year. he also forgot to put Medicare levy exemption and when I complained and asked to see the manager, he was the manager. so no one helped us in at least returning our 240 $ that we paid them. I do not recommend that branch at all to anybody and we had a loss of 1000 $ because of their bad service. :( :(
