Hit and miss with this joint.
1st time was awesome
2nd time was horrible
3rd time was good
This time I binned it all and had eggs on toast
Soggy, undercooked and oily
Flake is tiny
Fish bites should be called fish nibbles
Potato cakes were atrocious.

Rubbish quality.. supermarket fush and chips i strongly believe. Leave seaford for seafood!

For someone whos come here many times since 2015, im extremely disappointed this time. Soggy, undercooked chips. Frankfurt in batter? More like deep fried hot dog. Potato cakes that tasted like cardboard. Only thing decent about it was the fact it was ready when we walked in the door after being told 5-10min. Wont be returning. Put some love into your food.

Ordered $30 worth then asked if I could please have a few cups. Owner was incredibly begrudging, lecturing me on how his "cups aren't cheap, they're more expensive than the ones you buy at the supermarket [I'm no expert but they looked similar to fast food outlet ones]" how he's "a small business owner and everyone just comes and takes cups"
To which I politely reminded him that I understand but unlike those people, I had purchased as a customer and not just "come in off the street asking for free stuff" as he'd said.
Him "Are you serious? No, I'm not giving you any cups, you can go buy them yourself"
Me "Wow. Are YOU serious? No problem, I shall. Please return the 4x $1 dipping sauces, for $4 I am able to buy a full size sauce myself too."
In fairness, I have no bad feedback for the food (which included flake, dim sims, potato cakes, chips). The register staff was also fine. It is only the owner and their rudeness and bad attitude that shall have me buying my food elsewhere in future. He might think jokes on me as his food may taste better, but fish and chip fare isn't exactly healthy anyway so it won't make a huge difference going from greasy to greasier!
As a business owner he should really rethink his cup purchasing choices too.response / report this review -

Great people! Food is definitely worth the price and blindingly fast. Love that they use rice bran oil in there fryers can taste the difference

Came across it by chance. I had one of the best burgers. Simple and moderately priced. The family all had burgers and fish souvlaki's and nice n crunchy chips. Great service and awesome food. It's a must if you're in the area. I'd drive there from glen Waverley just for a burger. Really impressed.
