    DO NOT GO!!

The place looks nothing like the pictures!
Me and my partner arrived hoping to do our farm work and live in one of the caravans. We asked if we could look around before handing over any money and thank god we did!

We walked into the stuffy and awful smelling caravan to be greeted with years worth of dirt, filth and spiders and a bed that should definitely not be described as a double.
The place has an awful atmosphere and you are watched by long staying guests whilst you have a look.

Run as far away from this place as possible.

Thank god for the Banana Baracks who managed to help us extremely last minute and out of office hours to get us a place to stay.

1 star is generous in the extreme.
    An absolute feral dump.
Could not afford a shower head so it's like being pissed on by a cow, giant rats in the cooking area.
A blight on the otherwise pleasant town of Tully

Only the fact that my caravan here was a safe haven from the terrible farm work and the pretentious drunken rabble of my fellow backpackers keeps me from giving this a brutal one star.

We have travelled the length and width of Australia, staying in hundreds of caravan parks and free camps. Let's start with the scene that greeted us at our spot- and summed up our stay- dog shits. Several of them. It went downhill from here. The office didn't open until 4pm leaving us without water (no top on taps).
The place is run by backpackers, for backpackers. I use the term "run" lightly as it seems that collectively they couldn't run a bath.
The grounds were filthy; cigarette butts, beer caps and general litter. Toilets gloomy with small doors and showers which can only be described as "burst pipes". Luckily for us we only endured one night and escaped relatively safe. So when asked, "what did you like about it?" Id say; LEAVING.

Not a bad place, close to everything. The main trouble is the back packers who like to party on all night in the camp kitchen area. Noise until 2-3 am and they leave the area like a pig sty. The cabins which are quite modern are too close to this area.. Other than that pretty good and friendly staff

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, close to town. Has everything I needed. Since the cyclone they have recovered really well! Will go there again when I next visit Tully!
