Just had the snapper combo and the wife perch beautiful cannot fault perfectly cooked not greasy lots of chips top fish
Purcased two cooked mud crabs, $50.00 each that were as bland as bland could be, had definitely not been cooked in salt water as they are supposed to be. We were told they had been cooked fresh that morning (good Friday) on site but when the husband returned to let them know, he was told it's wasn't their fault as they had sourced the cooking of the crabs off site. Definitely won't waste my money there again.
Just had lunch there today and we are sold. Hesitant at first because of mixed reviews but we are new in the neighbourhood and wanted to try what’s around us so we went.
I’d say the battered snapper is so far the best fish from a fish and chips shop I have tried before. Just delicious! That’s my wife’s order which of course we shared.
I had the Hunger for 1 meal and I was very happy with it too. The chips will definitely be enough for two persons. And it’s not greasy and soft but the cuts are a nit small though. The calamari is to die for. I wish there’s more though because it’s so good. The grilled fish I am not a fan. A bit bland kind of fish but it tasted fresh so I am ok with it.
Overall good dining experience and we will definitely order again for checkouts.
Ordered through Uber Eats, absolutely disgusting. Fish bites frozen not fresh, potato scallops were under cooked and flavourless. Chicken patty on the burger was half the size of the bun and dry and gross. Chips didn't even seem cooked at all. Ordered 4 garlic balls and they did not even include them. Missing a potato scallop and fish bite as well. Pineapple fritter was only good thing. Rest went in the bin. Would not recommend this place. 7 seas in holmview are just down the road and much better quality and value for money.
Bought takeaway fish and chips. Very tasty and fresh. Good service, short wait time and reasonable price
