The FIGS was warm and cosy environment with woodfire, great food and friendly staff.

As a group of 5 cyclists, I stayed at the French Island cottage for two nights. The cottage has been rejuvenated and has all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The new owners were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was very convenient being able to go next door to the store for great coffee and food plus buy a few grocery items. The store provided us with an evening meal that we could heat up after the store closed. It was a great base from where to explore this undeveloped and naturally wild island. The store even transported our luggage back to the ferry wharf. Thank you Tanya, Leith and family!!

Had a lovely day here. Great atmosphere. Great food & great service. Pick up from the ferry is a great service. Will go over there again for sure.
