I would give them a zero if I could.

The male that limbs when he walks and the female manager are two of the most atrocious and extremely rude people I have ever meet, the attitude and contempt they both have for the customers is unbelievable.

These two people should not be allowed any where near the general public and the area manager should terminate there employment immediately.

I can not be the first person to complain about the service from these two people. I have witnessed it with my self and other customers countless time’s, I would go somewhere else but my business has an account.

An absolute disgrace that they are still employed.

Here's the thing: the people who gave this store one star are correct and the people who gave this store five stars are correct. You might ask yourself how this is possible, but the bottom line is that it is as if there are two completely different experiences available under the one roof and not much in between.

I have witnessed serious breaches of Australian Consumer Law here while at the same time I have personally been given outstanding customer service.

Perhaps the regional manager should consider why half of the ratings for this store online have one star and do something about a certain person in authority at the store. Giving this person training in empathy is not going to do the trick - the result was as off-putting as this person' usual unhelpful combative self except that instead of demonstrating obvious and transparent contempt for the customer this person was saccharine, insincere, creepy even.

And then there is another senior staff member who could not be more helpful. This person knows who you are if you have shopped there before, they consider your needs and wants and they bend over backwards to make sure that you keep coming back.

Finally, a quick note on the merchandising standard. Officeworks, like any big retailer, has a standard that individual stores are encouraged to adhere to. Items in dump bins should be priced. Product on shelves should be faced up. When customers move product around the store the product that is incorrectly shelved should be put back where it belongs. When pricing strips have been damaged they should be mended or replaced and not allowed to hang into the aisle like the whiskers on kittens. You have enough staff; when you are not actively serving customers instead of wandering aimlessly from aisle to aisle you might consider doing something that helps the manager with their KPIs. And when you leave the store be careful with the gap between the footpath and the driveway on the Beach Street side. The store has (appeared to) ignore a pretty dodgy situation here for some time - there is a serious gap.

Conclusion: this store has gaps that the regional manager really should consider attending to - the direction will have to come from the top because there are some quite rotten features at an otherwise lovely store.

Depends on the day of the week and who’s behind the counter depicting the type of service you’ll get here. Came in on a Wednesday got some things printed came back on the Friday to get more and was told I couldn’t do it? Woman was super short and almost seemed like she took enjoyment in denying my requests. If there was another location within a reasonable distance I’d never step foot in this shop again.

The self service print kiosk is joke! I wasn't the only one there having problems, as the other 4 customers I saw using it were battling with the machine or the printer. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the customer service was amazing. Thanks to Lil, I actually got my photos finally printed. I felt so bad for her, it was so busy, she had to deal with annoyed customers about the print service and was training someone all at the same time! I am happy with prints in the end but I took over 40 minutes to get them printed

I'm not saying this was the worst experience of my life but if I'm honest I would rather beat myself in the head with a shovel than visit the print section again. I was charged twice but I lost half my youth waiting to be served the first time.. I feel like I'd be ready to retire if I lined up again.. C'mon guys put some more staff on.

This store is full of employees that hate their job and frankly I can't blame them. They're all incompetent and have no training (seems like) horrible customer service. Horrible communication towards each other and generally look like they hate being there. I am literally never coming back here. Purely based on their horrible customer service to not only myself, but the other customers. I rather buy my supplies literally anywhere else in the world than ever see these people again.

Very helpful and friendly staff, I was looking for a modem that I saw online, staff took my number found the product put at the side for me and called me back, thumbs up! Is pretty much always stocked up, the price you see online is exactly the same in the store which I find uncommon and excellent, so you can call and schedule a pick up when is more convenient for you. I live in Mosman Park so this is the closest one for me, also week days it closes at 9pm which awesome!

The staff are very friendly but management need to roster more on especially at the photo and enlargement counter. We had to get a bulk order done and the one person working was trying to print and copy off multiple picture DVD's while trying to serve a swarm of customers. We left her to it to pick up later and there was no handover between staff and no one knew about the details of our order etc. give the staff a break, management, and roster more on

Rude staff, poor service. The self-serve printing service was either designed by someone with a sense of humour or a chimpanzee that was taught how to code in some experiment. I will print literally anywhere else in the future.

[Warning, Long review, got out of hand, Sorry!] -
This is where I go for basically everything I need for work and when on sale, electronics ..As a very regular customer, I think I can attest to why the reviews are so black and white - The staff. It really is that simple. Over the 3 or 4 years I've been going and have probably spent over $10,000 here.. I've seen a vast difference in staff members and their knowledge/helpfulness - In particular.. There is an extremely nice lady from NZ that works at the door alot, but also runs around where needed - She has been the one I have tried to always get if I'm going in for a big purchase ($250+) ..She is the definition of flawless customer service and will go to all lengths to help you. Many other staff are close, but not at that level.
To the bad reviewers, I could probably pick the staff member you had just from an album of the ones working the day you went. I have walked out many times before because of various reasons, e.g. Some young kids walking the electronics department with little to no knowledge in the area.. and a manager or two that acts extremely entitled when you want to price match. (..This review has definitely gone too far heh).

TL;DR They are a GREAT shop, sadly they need to pick their best staff to teach the other staff.. or instead employ some with a little expertise in some areas they will work. Once you know what staff to approach you'll have an extremely pleasant time. (albeit I know it shouldn't be that way).

I go here on a regular basis and only because they are so close to my house! The service is appalling and no one is ever around to assist when you need. Everytime I enter this place I hope for it to be better but it is just as bad as the last visit. With many years of retail experience under my belt you as a store need to re-evaluate and train your staff to have better customer service. I won't be returning!
