Fantastic food, amazing location. The sunsets are stunning. We had the best night here, the decor is a bit early 80s yacht club, but it's a great find, if you want good food and a great experience in Bowen come here. This place stands up against some of the better restaurants I've ever eaten in, and for the price of the meals its well worth a visit

This restaurant is located at the yacht club. I stopped here for lunch, beautiful views with a nice cool ocean breeze. Meals were fresh and well priced. Staff was very friendly

The restaurant is located inside the local yacht club and on first impressions you would think you have landed back in the 70's. But don't be fooled into thinking they serve meals like Chicken Maryland or Rissoles and mash. The meals here are actually pretty damn good. The chef has added a few spices and really raised the bar for the other local competition. Fresh produce with zest and zing. Recommend the fish curry or the Lamb Shanks - but we would of liked to have tried more dishes. Guess we will have to return for a lunch.
The place overlooks the marina so by day you should get a nice view.
Friendly staff again, just what you expect for a little town like Bowen. A pleasurable night. Freak-n good.

Visited Food Freaks all the way from Halifax, NS. Canada. We showed up on the Rib & Steak night. The service was superb and staff was friendly. We had a hard time deciding between Ribs and Steak and although we choose Steak they sent us 3 ribs to try out anyway. Needless to say we were "Mortified" that we almost missed out on them. Both Steaks and Ribs were perfectly prepared and I will be sure to make it a regular visit on any trips to Bowen in the future.
