They fixed the vaccum modulator but the Mazda E2000 1997 automatic had a further issue that they did not rectify. I was told by the manager that I was very rude when standing behind him. I gently said "Hello" once to let him know I was there. Apparently that was extremely rude of me. I was put in my place.

IMHO find someone else to service your auto!!!
Took car there for auto service .. allegedly serviced ...
6 weeks later auto died
Returned vehicle to Fluid Drive ... and told was told that auto was stuffed and then told in no uncertain terms to "go away" and even threatened with having vehicle "rolled into the street and left" if not removed within a few hours.
Fast Forward 1 week .... mechanic friend has a look and guess what!
- filter of "allegedly" serviced auto was completely clogged
- oil was very dirty
- oil was overfilled by about 1.5L (3L+ drained from auto)
Upshot is, new filter, flush oil, fill with correct amount of oil and car goes like a dream.
So make up your own mind .... I will certainly NEVER go there again ...report this review -

Would not recommend them at all. Car has been in their shop for 2 months leaving two elderly people with out a car over Christmas. They diagnosed the issue with the car and ordered a part from overseas but a month later they found out they diagnosed it wrong. Ordered parts for the new issue took weeks to arrive. Part finally came in and they put all new jobs before our job so waited another week to get done. They also lied to us and got caught out. There are other (better) places around Bendigo to get transmission done.

I had an emergency diff issue crop up 4 days before a 3 week trip to the Flinders Ranges.
Ford had no space to fix it, (even though it was only a 1/2 hour job), but Fluidrive saved the day and did an expert job to get us going safely.
We're now just over 2 weeks into our trip and haven't had an issue.
I wish there were more stars to give, and they have won a long time customer.report this review -

Best Transmission Specialist I’ve ever used through many countries & states I’ve dealt with over the last 20+ years. Had many cars transmissions serviced or rebuilt & they’ve never got it wrong. Nice friendly people @ that.

Jay is absolutely fantastic to deal with. Due to his advice to my husband, we did not purchase a particular car that had transmission issues in that model. We did purchase a diesel Peugeot and Jay has serviced both engine and transmission and replaced a radiator as well as on the spot quickly fixing a water in the diesel issue.
In 1980, as a somewhat rare kind of female, I did a Diesel Mechanic apprenticeship. Jay is a wonderful mechanic and his prices are extraordinarily reasonable.

My Ssangyong had been with another repairer for 4 months and the exact fault could not be diagnosed. Sent the vehicle to Fluidrive and within about 5 hours they have found the fault and fixed it.
Highly recommended repairer, know where to go in the future

I wont take my car to anyone else these days. Jay is a decent guy who is out to help the customer. He's only owned the place for the last 2 years - so give Fluidrive a go. They are super affordable in comparison to other mechanics in Bendigo and do most kinds of services. I had a problem on my car that 3 other places couldnt work out and one was going to charge me $1500 to 'maybe' fix it. Jay took 2 hours to work out the problem and it cost me a fifth of the price. I can't recommend them highly enough.
