We visited there on a public holiday and there weren't any dressed up volunteers but the village itself is beautiful and with a little imagination you can have a good view of life at that time.

We enjoyed our stroll through here this afternoon. If you like your history, this place was very informative. Loved all of the old buildings and the lighthouses as well.

Have visited this area twice so far & enjoyed the scenery but its the sloping pathway that can get a bit slippery. Not suitable for wheelchair bound people & sm children. Please update your pathway. Is it ok to allow dogs on site with leads on with their owners. In one of the sm buildings, there was a tall statue of a colourful peacock. Its very bright in colour. I think you should insure it for damages(like weather & storm damages). I hope it stays there for a long, long time. There is not enough wooden ramps for disabled, wheelchair people to move around. Please rectify this sm problem.

Every Wednesday night there is local singing and a fireing of the cannon at midnight, in the day all the old stores are open for viewing and purchasing handmade goods.
Even the dogs that stared in blockbuster movie oddball live there.
