It was lucky I wasn't sued from the vendor because of using First Class Legal. On the day of settlement, my First Class Legal solicitor told the vendor we couldn't proceed with the transfer of funds because he forgot to lodge some paperwork. When I asked about this, he later lied to me and blamed it on the vendor's lawyer.

I felt frustrated and anxious through the whole process because of my mistake in using this firm. I was constantly lied to and spoken to like an idiot during the whole ordeal. From start to finish the whole process was unnecessarily long and a waste of time; it took a week for Authority to Act forms to be sent to my residence.

When I did assume ownership over the property, the Owner's Corporation called and informed me that a neighbouring residence owed thousands in unpaid fees. I would not have brought the property had I known this, because all of the other owners were expected to cough up more money to cover the shortfall.

I should have been informed about all of this by First Class Legal.

Please do yourselves a favour, avoid this place and seek out competent advice and conveyancing in your local area.

Had my settlement go through today! So excited. Thank you to First Class Legal Frankston. They kept us updated through the entire process and provided reminders about our finance clause and reminded us to do our final inspection. We really appreciate your constant follow up.

First Class Legal are a First Class Company. I found all of the staff extremely pleasant and very professional. This is the 3rd time I have used them and I couldn't recommend them more highly. They delivered exactly what they promised; you cant ask for more!!!!

My experience with this company was diabolical. The person I dealt with was inefficient. When there was something hard to do, I could never get her on the phone - always some excuse was made - she was out, at lunch, at a meeting and I was promised a return call which never happened. Some days i could record up to 14 calls that were unsuccessful. I feel sorry for the front desk staff who had to ultimately deal with my impatience. My apologies to you. At the end of the experience (thank God there was an end!) I had to pay extra because she did not do what she was meant to at settlement. It would seem to me they employ inexperienced people to do the job. I would gladly tell people to stay away from there. I rang the manager to voice my grievance and I was fobbed off. I am giving 1 star only because there is no option for no stars

Do not trust this firm!
I was quoted $1,300.00 for a flat rate conveyancing work but ended up paying them $937.32 and the property didn't even sell.

They told me they will be taking out $300.00 for the initial costs but took $450.00 when they had my Master Card details.

Stay away from First Class Legal!
