Worth the stop. Lots of interesting history, information and photos about how the caves are formed and the diving expeditions carried out

Obviously someone in a wheelchair can not get into to cave here but if you can walk but you need a stick and you go with other people you know it is doable. I know I have done it. A wheelchair can get into the shop and on to the veranda around the hole and have a cuppa.

After reading a few negative reviews; I left my visit until the last day. The tour was quite good. We had a young man guiding us (Josh I think his name was) and he conducted the tour with professionalism. The caves don't look much from above the ground but they are wonderful underground, and there is so much local history. It went for 40 minutes and cost for an adult entry, $12.50.

Rudest tour guide ever , i admit my child started crying but even before that from moment go , was so condesending, you can say something without being so rude,, talked down to whole group , i confronted her and replies with very smarty pants comments , so unprofessional , i then left with child in toe as they were being a bit noisy , they should offer a refund if your child is unhappy and you need to leave for the sake of others on tour as it is advertised different than it is , and it really is not much , at all of a tour! or anything to look at anyway plus is put across as tot friendly, so not! Not much to see really , maybe half the price to help preserve the caves and nicer staff, there was a surcharge yes for card , and no locks on the cupboards in the cafe and waiting area (low set on floor cupbaords ) , then you get blasted if you child opens one while she orders you about horribly on your tour rules and tells 16 months old they must listen to the whole thing? ! Really dissapointed!!! Actually nearly ruined my arfternoon. All the other caves near by staff were lovely and dealth with kiddy issues great! Naracoorte was geat

Not great at all, caves are so small not what they are portrayed to be. Staff are enthusiastic but annoying . Baby crying on the tour this isn't a place for children. Nothing exciting save your $12 for the pokies

We visited this place on 4/3/17. I paid by debit card and they charged me for debit card transaction which was unusual. When asked about this the manager told she can run her business whatever way she wants and also refused to issue a tax invoice as well. She is a liar and rude. She also told me to get out of the place. Very impolite. I would never visit this place again and never recommend to anyone where such racists are running the business.

Jesh was our tour guide and all i can say about him is he is awesome. He kept our young child entertained the while way. He was entertaining and full of information right down to the little white cross. We had a family pass and it was worth every cent.

I didn't spend $12.5/p for the tour so I can't say it is not worth it. But I recommend Umpherston Sinkhole. It is beautiful and it is free.
