There are a number of maintenance items that need attending to and misleading information regarding the house and rooms that is unsatisfactory.
• The sleeping arrangements- the plan showed King singles in bed 2&4 however they were only single beds. Bed 7 showed 2 King singles however had it had a trundle arrangement with one King single and one single bed.
• Main light in bed 7 not working.
• The plan showed access to bed 2 through patio, however the door was blocked and locked which meant there was only access through bed 1.
• Air conditioning in bed 2 not working- blows warm air.
• Lock on main bathroom next to living room broken.
•The insufficient air conditioning, fans and fly screens in guest house is unacceptable and inferior to the main house.
• Privacy issues- neighbours constantly watching us.
• Due to the long grass between the house and the lake we had a near miss with a snake and it just looked unpresented and not maintained
• Upon arrival both BBQ's were filthy (due to this, we couldn't use one of the BBQ's.)
• No spare gas. (ran out of gas during the middle of dinner)
• Patio fan faulty.
• Generally no fly screens which is what you would love on the tablelands and save electricity and be environmentally friendly!
We cannot complain about the beautiful location and lake access, however we feel for the money that we paid we have not received complete satisfaction and would find it hard to recommend to friends and family.response / report this review
