Absolutely amazing place for fishing, with a great park for the kids accompanied by a picnic area for a family outing. With the mouth of the river right there the channel gives you the opportunity to catch a good 1. There are signs dictating the danger of snakes so be aware. Other than that this is a fantastic spot.

Great spot for a family bbq or picnic. Lots of lawns to sit and enjoy the views across the bay. Safe swimming for kids.

If you're in Geelong, probably the best beach to access. Great place for BBQ, safe swimming and amply shade. Children loved it.

Great place for a walk on a nice day with the bay on one side and green rolling hills on the otheside. The bollards are a great attraction and you can walk right around the foreshore to see a little piece of local history

Great place for a walk or to spend the whole day with the family. Nice picnic areas, barbecue space and swimming pools makes this place a perfect location to have fun with the family and friends.

Fenced off swimming area on beach - Diving boards, Giant Wheels, High Jumping Platform. Plus a salt water/chlorine pool with concrete bottom and glass fencing all around to keep children from wandering. Great for families and safe swimming. Sandy Beach and Very large Grassed area for shade tents, sunbaking etc. Hot food and snacks from food truck. Toilets with change rooms and showers. Local shopping centre less than 5min away. Ferris wheel short walk along beach. Lots of parking in car park and on side road.

Fantastic place to swim especially if you've got kids or non-confident swimmers! One enclosed free children's pool and a large enclosed section of the ocean. Picturesque and well maintained a wonderful place to go.
