I am a Credentialed Diabetes Educator with more than 15 years experience in diabetes education.

I have worked across a number of areas including Public Hospitals, General Practices, Community Health and more recently in Private Practice.

I have extensive experience in Type 1 diabetes management and my main interest is initiating people with type 1 diabetes on insulin pumps, working with them to manage and support there discussion to commence pump therapy and also to assist with ongoing management and control. I am the principal educator in Diabetes Care, which provides expert diabetes management to private patients in clinics throughout Melbourne. I also coordinate a team of credentialed educators that manage patients with diabetes education needs through Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Epworth Eastern Hospital.

I have a strong interest in self management and early intervention and am committed to supporting patients and their families with life-long skills required for positive outcomes.
