  Went to get plates replaced as old ones were faded. Gave very clear instructions to them. I paid the $25 replacement fee. went to advise my insurance company new plate number was told plate number didnt exist. Checked on rego check online they had cancelled my other cars number plate and changed to the new plates leaving the old faded plates still linked to my car. Now got to get off work again and see if i can convince them they made a mistake and to fix it.

  Got my interstate licence converted in less than 30mins. Official(forgot your name, sorry) at counter 10 on 22/09/17 was very friendly, polite and helpful.

  Practical driving asssesment is a business for them.
  They make people keep failing as to raise money .
  Bloody assessors .
  Shame on this kind of act.
  Many of the staves are racist too.

  Staff were helpful but the system in place to verify forms of ID is senseless and unhelpful. Having documents available on your phone is insufficient and needs to be printed out which is counter productive in 2017. What's worse is they have printers there but we were told to print them out elsewhere which wastes everyone's time (including the staff's) overall. This could have been avoided by accepting soft copies of ID from category C and D rather than having them printed out or allow the staff to print these, it will take less than 10 minutes which is considerably less than having to come back again and restart the process. If this doesn't change then people will be forced to come back again which adds unnecessary queue times, creating more inconvenience for people as well as the staffs.

  It's a DoT so it's never going to be a thrill ride but Asif at Cannington was incredibly helpful and very patient with me. Wish I could request him every time because they're not all that good!

  Had to do a interstate transfer and waiting time was short for a packed room and staff was amazing!

  Helpful staff. Did not ask for information as I knew what I wanted. Only bad thing is that it takes a long time.

  This place deserves 0 stars, 4 visits and at least 3 hours waiting over those 4 visits just to transfer a licence, educate your staff

  Quickest department of transport I've ever been to! They helped me transfer an interstate licence in under 10 minutes and I only had to wait 15 minutes to be served and that was in the afternoon as well. Friendly staff as well. Very impressed
