So, they haven't updated the business name to 'Peir Street Kitchen', which is what it is now, much like we were never really attended to. I cannot speak of what the food is like, but I can say that the service is exceptionally inattentive. We were served our drinks, water we had to attain ourselves, and managed to finish them before we decided to leave as the business clearly doesn't want our money. Frustrating enough was the staff not acknowledging us at all whilst they served the tables around us, but what determined our leave was the fact that the staff member who sat us and took our drinks was standing by the door doing nothing but waiting for customers to arrive. Perhaps serve the customers present before the ones who haven't arrived yet? This should also serve as evidence to the fact that you were not overly busy, which I would have made concession for. I can understand that it is difficult to stay profitable for a small restaurant, but you just missed out on $100+ for 30 minutes of table space. Get your staff in order, management, for the sake of your business.

I went for lunch with a friend. The coffee was pretty good, I ordered a latte and it was silky and the blend had been nicely roasted. What let things down slightly was the Toasted Turkish which I felt was far too dry for what was marketed to be the 'recommended choice". But service was attentive and polite. A little overpriced but typical for anywhere near the beach. Good central location. Walking distance to other cafes and shops. I would visit again and try one of the many gourmet cakes and desserts.

The Food is incredible. A different take a breakfast but as fortune favours the bold so does amazing tastes. Step out and try something new on the menu. Incredible

Came here earlier today, and the manager was nice but a bit rude, and wouldn't leave us alone, even when we were trying to eat he continued to hang around and try to make conversation. The food was nice as well but slightly burnt. Overall the service was great, the waitresses were nice despite the manager giving them a hard time.

Our food got delivered to another table and then picked up and delivered to us. Great coffee great food. But service needs some work. It left me feeling disappointed.

Incredible. On par with some of the better cafes and restaurants in Melbourne right near the beach, with a few unique things on the menu, like ginger beer, and cherry cola imported from the U.K. Defiantly worth the visit if you are on the peninsula.

Although some might find the menu's to be selective, this is an excellent place to try something new. The did didn't fit my pallet but others really enjoyed it. The staff were very accommodating in making sure or allergies were sent with when preparing the meal.
I highly recommend trying this place
