  Would normally only have good things to say about DB Dental Brighton but after today’s visit I am not impressed. Was given a quote last week for an Invisalign consultation which with my health insurance was going to leave me out of pocket 24$. After the consultation today, I was told it was going to cost me 65$, as an X-ray was done. The reception staff should know to automatically add an X-ray charge to the quote and if it is not applicable, it be removed at the time of settling the bill. Although it was only a small charge, people still need to be aware as the whole reason of getting the quote is to budget for these sort of things. Would definitely think twice about going here again.

  After a few visits to DB dental Brighton W.A, I have come to the realisation that they are nothing but a bunch of thieves. The reception staff were very nice and welcoming, the dentist was also very welcoming but that smile is just a front as they think of the money that they are going to Steal from you.
  Every time I attended this practice I was given a set price and ended up paying more than double. The extras would not be discussed and I didn’t find out that I had to pay an extra $300.00 until I got to the till.

  Extortionately expensive. I was quoted over $600 for a filling and over $3600 for a crown. For that price I could fly return to Europe and have a dental implant fitted. I was then charged $12 to have the X-Ray, which I had already paid for, emailed to me.

  The actual dentist was ok, he was good at what he did. However, I made an appointment over the phone specifically to be fitted for an 'oral appliance' that's supposed to help with sleep apnoea. I was told over the phone that this was definitely something that could be done. When I arrived, the receptionists were polite and attentive. Then, I was taken through a dental check-up, a tartar removal and x-rays to check out potential problems ($287 worth of procedures). Only then was I told that the dentist was 'uncomfortable' fitting an oral appliance and referred me to another practice. If I'd been told that from the start, I'd have gone elsewhere, and now I'm going to have to pay that $287 more for the actual appliance fitting due to my private health cover cap.
  
  These guys only seem to be in it for the money. If you choose to use DB Dental Jindalee make sure you ensure you're able to get what it is you made the appointment for before you allow yourself to be subjected to anything at all. They appear helpful on the surface, but it's quickly apparent that they want your money first. For me, this is ethically abhorrent and I won't be going there again.
