Upgrade to a harbour view room
This new hotel in the heart of Newcastle is comparable to any 5 star hotel.. just remember to make a reservation for dinner in the roundhouse and while you are doing that reserve an area in the cocktail bar!
It is a hotspot for locals so book in so you don’t miss out!
Cocktails were a little more expensive than other venues!
The food was outstanding and a reasonable price

Did a 1 night staycation at the Crystalbrook Kingsley and absolutely loved it. Service was excellent from the second we checked in, and the experience was wonderful through our dinner and cocktail reservations upstairs, and breakfast in the morning. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff were professional and friendly. Julia was very attentive and helpful during our entire stay. I will be recommending the Crystalbrook to anyone wanting a little bit of luxury. The only thing it is missing is some kind of gym or wellness section!

From the minute you step inside you're in a world of happiness! Professional friendly staff that can't do too much for you. Big shout out to Ken our breakfast waiter, best ever, and the reception staff too. The top floor 360 views give you a new appreciation of our beautiful town Newcastle. Thanks to Crystalbrook for showing off Newcastle as the Jewell in the crown of coastal NSW. We'll be back real soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lunch at Miss Mary's, out to the art gallery/Darby St in the afternoon, wonderful dinner at 6pm in the Roundhouse restaurant then drinks in Romney's bar at 8pm. Breakfast in the morning with a late checkout. Wonderful experience with super friendly, helpful staff. Beds are so comfy and very clean, well designed room.

An awesome dinner, cocktails and views. A great addition to Newcastle's culinary experience.
Great ambiance without the stuffiness, friendly staff you expect from Newcastle.
Highly recommend the Sirloin with the addition of the bone marrow, which at first I had no idea what to do with it. Increased the flavour to the max.
