Decent fish and chips. Made as they should be. Scallops were excellent and fish was fresh with a crisp batter. A major upgrade from the previous owners!!!!

Made a hefty order, and was left disappointed. Everything was over cooked and if it wasn't, it's because it was missing.

I love supporting local, and I hope this was a once off kinda thing, I'm just not convinced after hearing the 2 workers or owners bickering over " having to do something " when referring to what I now know was our missing items, that that's the case.

I would have preferred to be told they were out of something or even just offered replacement.

There was also a concerning lack of chicken salt.

The potato cakes and veggie burgers are delicious. The servings generous. All in all, an improvement since the business changed hands. Would highly recommend this fish n chip shop!

The good reviews are not fake this is a GREAT Fish and Chip joint. Period. For your money I challenge you to do better in Melbourne. Food is always good, and I'm picky.

EDIT) Just tried their Souvlaki's and it was fresh and delicious. Like jeez, what are people expecting for 11 bucks! It was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced with perfect serving size. Don't believe the haters - this is good food.

Edit: "Under new management" so thought I better give them a shot. Sorely disappointed. The batter on the fish is deceiving tasty looking as fish is a slimly, oily and so rubbery it took some effort just to get a small piece off. Honestly, the fish is disgusting and the chips are undercooked. No changes. What a missed opportunity.

The good reviews must be fake.
Chips were under cooked (still hard inside), fish was over cooked. Batter was so thick and wet. Oil definitely needs changing. It was quite awful. We did not eat it all. We will never go back.
