this school is good though it gives out waaaaaaay to much homework plus my friend goes there
The only thing that really differentiates this school from others is it's math pathways program. I personally found it great, as for the past few years i have been held back in maths. However a lot of the people I know seem to really hate it, as it doesn't teach you very well (cause it's a pdf) and your forced to learn at twice the speed you should, or you get detention.
I went to this school and I can't fault it in any way. It is extremely inclusive and they always make sure to have the very best gourmet food at the cafe. 11/10 would recommend .
A poor example was set today for students concerning caring for native protected wildlife. I called the office and explained that a student had identified a bird that was obviously unwell and that I could confirm that it was a native. I explained that there is a dedicated volunteer group in Victoria that will organize collection and transport to veterinarian or licenced wildlife shelter. I explained that this species was protected under legislation and took the time to search and provide the office with the phone number to call. I was assured that they will take care of it but instead they did nothing, the animal passed away after four hours with no assistance with all of the students to witness. Is empathy, effort or responsibility not a worthwhile lesson for young minds?
I like the campus, it's good. The drama, English, and Mandarin programs are good. I like the cafe too. I have a few teachers who are really nice, but a lot of them are pretty nasty. Also I get bullied a lot. This school also definitely has a swearing AND a stealing problem, and the phone rules are kind of unfair. I like the memes, though.
great place; good people.
It's all good till you become a student and the reality of of being a student at an average government high school hits you and you immediately wish you stayed in primary
A good school. My son is very happy here.
A great school in a beautiful setting. My kids love the music and arts program, they come home excited to learn and whilst knowing no one on their a first day there, they formed good friendships at the school. While the school admittedly had some teething problems when the new junior school commenced in 2015, the arrival of a new principal in July 2016 has brought tremendous change and uplift. The teachers are all extremely dedicated and committed, and my kids have been given a number of exciting learning and development opportunities they would not have had at any of the nearby inner City schools. Overall a really great school that within a few years will be the outstanding school in the inner North.
Great school, passionate and committed staff and leadership of the school. Very progressive, and an active parent community.
