Delicious butter chicken, just the right amount of spice (I get medium heat). Filled right up to the top of the container and service was good, not a long wait time.

Went out on a limb to try Chennai and Im glad I did! Ordered from here twice just to check, pleased both times. Authentic and flavourful curries. Staff are exceptionally helpful.

I am a big lover of Indian cuisine, with a guilty soft spot for butter chicken but I also like to rotate through all other curry flavours. But ultimately I judge an Indian restaurant by its Butter Chicken, and the sauce was perfection and up there with the better ones I have ever had. Mushroom Pakoras were nice for something different. The Veg Samosa's were full of Indian flavour and delicious! I also could not stop eating the Medium Lamb Chettinad we ordered. So much incredible flavour in one dish! And the lamb itself was mouthwatering and tender.

I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like this is constructive criticism over the service rather then food.
My partner and I came here on a Friday night,
When ordering meals, waitress was getting confused when asking for “rice enough for 2 people”. I understand there is a language barrier but she had impeccable English.
Then when it came to the leftovers put in containers. All I asked was that she fill one side of the container with rice and the other side with the left over curry.
Well this was 2 minuet conversation about why she can’t do that.
I said “yes you can, I’ll even pay for full price rice just give me 1/2 serve in the container.
She then comes back with 2 takeaway containers.
1. Full of rice
2. Empty
We had to do it ourselves. Because the cook said so.
Like come on guys, not only did you waste single use plastic but now we have all this rice we won’t eat.
I even said I’d pay for a full rice! Just wanted it to be only 1/2 so I could add the curry.

I eat here. It is nearby my dwelling so it is convenient and the food is nourishing. Good taste and aromatic. Yes. Consume.
