  We used CBD movers in May to pick up stuff from 4 pick-up points. On phone, they promised to come between 2 and 4 pm. When we asked for 2 pm they accepted. So, we arranged pick-up times with guys in 4 pick-up points. But they did not come on time. After some calls with the office, they told me it is noted for 2-6 pm on their system!
  In the meantime, I received many calls from four guys at pick-up points and they made me under pressure because they counted on my word and they were very very angry with me! Then, I called CBD movers office and they promised us for the next 30 minutes or an hour!!
  In the end, my partner went to one of the pick-up points and picked up a queen bed by herself in our own car and came back. Meantime, I went to another pick-up point and I stayed there in street for 3 hours with stuff until after 7 pm when the movers came!!!! Can you believe that after 7! means 5 hours delay!!
  
  When the movers came, they just told us no one update them (in complete coolness)!!! It was a very tough and exhausting condition that the movers made it for us. We booked movers because we did not want to pick up this stuff by ourselves without any stress. Surprisingly, at the end of work, they took the full price from us without any shame. Without even considering the discount because of the difficulty they gave us.
  
  The day after when we called their office, they promised us a discount. However, after that, they rejected any discount and ignored our emails!!
  I never use them again and do not recommend them to any others.
  Be careful in choosing them.

  I was very pleased with the move. The movers were very careful with the product handling and assembling. It was last minute booking and they still accepted it. They disassembled and assembled our bed very neatly. Thank you so much it was a job well done.

  I don’t usually bother writing reviews but honestly if your reading this do yourself and favour and find anyone else to help you with your move. Their team cancelled three times on us, when they finally did show up they took one look at some boxes and then walked out and went to their truck and said “no we can’t it’s too much and too heavy” … these were small boxes and a few chairs maybe two trips and none that would need two people, they refused to move anything and then I spent 30min on hold asking their company what was going on because we needed wito be out of the apartment. The guys jumped on a call with the owner while I waited and then spoke another language so I wouldn’t understand what they were saying. They then turned around and said they have another job booked and need to leave. I’m not usually one of those people that gets angry but this company managed to bring it out in me with some incredibly poor service. I don’t even leave reviews for companies usually but this one is actually worth a warning and moving house is a stressful time so I wouldn’t want this for anyone else. Keep scrolling on google and find someone else…
  *best part was when they drove off and left the back of the truck open (see images attached) 😂

  DO NOT BOOK with CBD Movers
  We booked with them for a small move for yesterday. They said they would be there between 10am and 2pm. We waited at the property. We called them at 2pm and they said the truck will be there in 20minutes. At 3 pm they called back to say the driver has injured themselves and would need to reschedule to tomorrow once again between 10 and 2. I told them we need them to come first thing and to call as I wouldn't be waiting at the property for another 5 hours. Fast forward to today and once again no show. They said they can come at 4pm. We said that was too late. Then they said they could come at 3pm. I explained yesterday it needed to be before 3 due to the school run. Then they said they would have to reschedule us again for the following day. We cancelled the booking. Absolutely disgusting customer service. they did offer to give us a $5 discount for our inconvenience though. I laughed at that.
  After we cancelled, they told us we might as well keep our booking for tomorrow as we won't find anyone else. I am happy to say that we called Mini Movers. They arrived at short notice within 45 minutes. Very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend Mini Movers as an alternative to CBD Movers. They have a guarantee on their work in case of breakages

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
  
  Key issues include:
  - Broken items
  - Inefficient and very slow movers (to increase the cost)
  - Double and even triple handled items and had to pack and re-pack the truck (adding time)
  
  I am very disappointed in the job completed. It ended up costing me $840 to move a 1 x bedroom apartment (which did not even include a fridge, dryer or a TV). Based on previous moves of a 1 x bedroom apartment, the total job should have been somewhere around $450-$550 maximum.
  
  The movers also dropped some items and broke our belongings (see pictures). They said they would replace the cost of the items if I contacted the customer service department, which I have several times including filling out 2 of their complaint forms.
  
  They have not responded to any of our communication attempts to have our broken items replaced. Very disappointing. Do not use them.
