Went there today (Sunday 5th Nov 17.) Parking not super convenient but the food and service more than made up for it. Looking forward to going back.
Milkshake was wonderful. Great place to stop while riding the rail trail. Connected to the rail trail by a short path, you can’t miss it. Also has toilets here.
Fantastic place! Really friendly staff, great menu, inddor/outdoor seating and very reasonably priced. A real standout!
Hard to find not much signage.
Beautiful setting surrounded by trees.
Very muddy in the seating on the grass.
Very quick & friendly service, delicious muffins but the coffee was average. Not much to choose from on the menu.
Pets welcomed which is nice.
It's a very cute, pretty and cosy place. You can choose to sit inside an old train carriage. The western style of food is quite good but the Asian style ones aren't that good. I ordered a Thai noodle soup last time, it was small and it tasted bland and didn't taste very nice.
Not bad. Friendly staff. good place for kids. Reasonable prices.
A beautiful place to go for a relaxing lunch or coffee. I love seeing the horses and bike riders coming in from the Warburton Track. Very affordable and family friendly. Wonderful country hospitality.
Love the train, the food was tasty, and extremely generous. There is a lovely scenic walk to the Carriage Cafe. A beautiful afternoon spent there.
The food was good and the concept of the cafe is great within a beautiful setting. This was quickly spoilt by the swarms of European Wasps that invaded the table as soon as the food was put down. I had to get up and go inside the carriage which had extremely uncomfortable seating. The problem was not acknowledged by the staff. For the cost of an exterminator these wasps could be cleared from the site as european wasps only travel a short distance from their nest. I saw other people abandon their meal entirely and they were not offered a refund despite the fact that the plate was covered with at leat 50 wasps on the food at the same time and numerous wasps swarming around the table. I spoke to them and was told they spent $32 on their meals and didn't even get an apology.
Located off the Lillydale to Warburton Rail , good coffee and breakfast.Fun place for kids to dine in a old train carriage.
A welcome cycling stop on the Warburton trail. Very well set out, good food and a nice tranquil view of the bushland. The train carriage theme is well executed and captures the 'train at the station' idea brilliantly.
