Pretty good layout for a place out in the sticks,I am told that fishing can be good around the area.
All kinds of fish
Nice to visit and see but not much there
Our family are regular visitors to Cape Jaffa and we always enjoy our time there. Our 3 young kids love the variety of outdoor activities on offer from fishing, walking the dog on the beach, swimming, paddling a board in the marina, bike riding, bush walking etc. As parents we find it a truly relaxing spot well away from the hustle and bustle and we always look forward to getting back there. There can be a build up of seaweed in the winter months (like many beaches in SA) but it doesn't bother us as we tend to prefer "beaching it" in the warmer months and usually the beach is good then. Every time we go we see dolphins daily. The café/tavern will be a good addition. We have spent time in 4 of the holiday homes down there and they are all good as they are pretty much brand new. It's great being able to pick a lobster fresh from the supplier by the jetty and then pop into a winery 5kms down the road.
when i went to have a look at blocks of land, late last year. i was confronted by a staff "cowboy" who not only accused me of littering. but also tresspassing, and camping, due to the fact that i was driving a small motorhome.needless to say i will not be investing my $530,000 in this "white elephant"and to the arragant staff member - grow up - with this attitude you have not only put me off, but also other locals i have spoken to as well.
