Horrible service, our meals didn't get put through to the kitchen which then did very little about it. Then later after they didn't bring out my meal. The WORST cafe I have ever been too

Great local place we can walk to. Not pretentious. Down to earth family run cafe. Dog friendly too

Coffee was lovely but having 6 tables inside all reserved for over an hour in advance, so being forced to the cold outside for my 15 min visit. Seriously! Not hurrying back. Oh and staff please smile!

Having written the below review, I then visited again. Unfortunately not so fun this time. The lady (who i think may be the owner) can make or break your experience. She is super nice and is really welcoming... OR can be very dismissive when things get busy/you dare to sit at a table. As she shoved our starter on the table with not even eye contact, i realized we had met Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Such a shame as we had such a good time on our previous visit.

From the moment that we walked in, we enjoyed our evening. The owner and his dog threw us a wave, then we were greeted and seated by the window by the friendly. The lady explained the specials and the menu and we ordered. The Sambuca Chicken was one of the nicest meals i have had out in a long time! Would definitely HIGHLY recommend :) Good job 58'ers... we will see you again soon :)

Went in on a Tuesday about 2.45pm and asked if we could take our dog in the courtyard. The girl said we could, but needed to order our food inside. We went in the courtyard and after choosing from the menu my husband went in to order. He came straight out and said the kitchen was closed. It was about 2.55 by now. The girl asked the chef, but he refused to do the order (only toasted sandwiches). Why not tell us the kitchen was about to close, or the chef do it as he was there. No where does it show the kitchen closes at 3!! Can't believe it! Will never go back.
Ps. By the way I am a chef and would have done that order at that time!

14 of us went for father’s day lunch at Café 58 and were very disappointed in the service! We placed our drinks and lunch order and then waited 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive. When it did, cold coffees were served and the milkshakes the kids ordered were wrong and the milk that some of the milkshakes were made from was off!!! When we told the waitress she was really put out that we sent the drink back. Our lunch eventually arrived after a very long time, we asked for cutlery and serviettes, why should we ask for this! But then proceeded to wait for that to arrive as well. The 14 of us all looked at each other and had to ask again for cutlery and serviettes!! Then we asked if we could have some water for the table, that did arrive but should we have taken turns drinking out of the bottle so ASKED AGAIN for glasses. Really has it come to this in Perth, where the customer has to ask for everything? As we were having our lunches extra milkshakes were delivered, we had not ordered extra milkshakes. As we were leaving the chocolate milkshake we had ordered at the beginning arrived???? Absolutely disgraceful service, none of us will return!
