Brewristas is like stepping in to hipster central, and although the staff are friendly and coffee is above-par, you'll pay a pretty penny for it.
That said, get your hands on one of their salted caramel milkshakes and you'll never want to go anywhere else.
Unfortunately for any students in the area, and there are plenty, Brewristas has no WiFi.

Semi hidden on Glebe Point, the black sandwich board shows you the way in.

Brewisters has been open two years now and evolved into a mature cafe, the food changing from a good but minimal menu, into a solid cafe menu with excellent specials, at a fair price.

However, it's the coffee that excels (as you would hope). Their standard espresso is consistently good, but make the time to sit inside and peruse the select menu. The $10 filter coffees are expensive yes, but you get what you pay for. A slowly crafted cup (2 actually), with superb flavour, beautifully presented.

There are few places to go which provide a consistent coffee.

Have been frequenting Brewristas since they opened after seeing they used Sensory Lab coffee from Melbourne. Coffee nerds will love this place. Each coffee is made with care, the staff are friendly and the dine-in food is great. Some quick, savoury take-out options would be nice... but if you do have a couple of minutes to spare (and you're hungry enough), the bacon & egg roll is wild!

Cold brew was good, and so was the hot chocolate. The venue is nice and the staff friendly. But the food was very disappointing. After seeing beautiful pictures of interesting food on instagram, we were surprised by the uninspiring menu. The food served was lacking love. There are so many cafes in Sydney serving amazing food. This place really needs to step it up.

I found the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful, ensuring our order got through before the kitchen closed. The deck area in the back provided a relaxed area away from the main street.
Ordered the grilled chilli chicken burger, it was well presented and delicious.
If you're one for coffee, rest assured that it is also excellent here.
The decor and ambience are lovely, expressing its own sort of unique character alongside the food they serve.

Delicious coffee, although the food can be pretty hit-and-miss.

The coffee was great and the food quite creative. The Breakfast Burrito is an interesting take on a Burrito but quite a pain to eat as there's only chorizzo, beans and rice within the buritto itself. The specialty milkshake is overpriced and did not taste as what they described it. Simply tasted like a chocolate milkshake and at $12 was sold as being a large milkshake however it was standard in size. Would definitely go back for the coffee and try other food.

Brewistas offers wonderful coffee, delightful food and a great atmosphere. Adding to this their truly welcoming staff, it has most certainly become one of my favourite brunch places to visit! :)

The passion and dedication to their craft behind the team at Brewristas is what sets them apart from other cafes. Switched on and hospitable staff who go above and beyond to ensure you are well accommodated. They have raised my awareness and standards on what to expect of specialty coffee and guided my tastebuds to wonderland. I take great pride in sharing how great the coffee is here. Food is also top notch :)

Food is amazing and coffee is one of the best in Sydney. Really friendly staff and great atmosphere. One of my favourite brunch cafes.
