Not very good food and staff not very nice

A group of 4 of us stayed at the Allansford for 5 nights and it was stunning. The room was very clean and a great size for the 4 of us with separate rooms and a good TV/lounge area (room number 9).

The staff were simply amazing and couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was ever a bother for them at all and they looked after us really well. The bar and restaurant were also brilliant with good choices for food. The chef obviously has passion for what he does and was really personable.

We are a group in our 30's and 40's and were attending a wedding nearby and this met and exceeded our needs and expectations.
