Fantastic vegetarian food. If you ring up and let them know your dietary requirements they are very flexible. Some tasty Aricini Balls just like you get back in Italy.

Welcoming staff in an intimate and quiet environment.
The menu is full of traditional Italian food prepared with homely care.
Try the deep fried beef ravioli. Comfort food like Mama used to make.

Came in here for dinner for two at 8pm on a Tuesday night. Despite being later and mid week we were treated fantastically by the staff. Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. The polenta chips and the broccoli pasta were top tier! Can't wait to come back here and get the polenta chips and try the rest of the menu!

    Cheers guys!

Dear reader, this is restaurant has excellent service. The food is slightly saltier, but it is an excellent place for a romantic date or birthday celebration. I would give it four stars, if they lower slightly the price of the food or increasing its portion. I wish you an enjoyable time there. Please don't park in the lane next to it (non-parking). The council rangers might fine you or your car might get scratched by the passing cars in the narrow lane. All the best, David

Great food and service. Good for an evening out with friends or a cosy twosome. We were seated at a round table and it was so easy to talk to converse and share plates.
    Parked at nearby Coles.

We hadn't been out for a long time and were looking forward to our visit. The veal we both ordered was like very thin tasteless cardboard and the potatoes ordered as a side dish were not cooked properly.
To make up for the disappointingly bad main course, we ordered one of the special desserts for the evening which was an almond tart and ice cream. The tart was a small flat leaden slice which must have come out of the freezer, with not much almond taste. The ice cream was good. The bill came to $122.00 for a most unsatisfactory meal. I started to say something to the waitress but the wait-staff were smiling and friendly so I didn't pursue the matter. We were surprised about how many people were there at Borellis mid-week. Perhaps chefs/cooks have been changed but we won't be back and feel cheated as it was our first night out for over a year due to illness.

    Best Italian ever!
From the outside it's a tiny little restaurant with cliche'd artwork. Once inside, it's catacomb like interior is fascinating.
However once the menu arrives you don't care about the decor! We were told immediately "It's all made fresh to order so if you want to add or remove anything just let me know" Wow haven't been told that at a restaurant in years!
Started with the savoury strawberry risotto with parmesan. Yup that's what you read. WOW that was a revelation! Creamy, sweet, salty, cheesy with a hint of strawberry and a beautiful soft pink colour. Wish I'd ordered my own instead of sharing!
I was thrilled with my gnocci, fresh made, soft with a fresh cherry tomato sauce with capers...
    Definitely coming back!
