Reasonably priced seafood. Also decently quickly service after ordering. Not high end dining but does what it intends to well as a restaurant.

    Crowded and Chaotic.
Tables weren't clearly marked as Reserved.
If one goes alone, one can still loose their seat as ordering and paying is at the till.
Unfortunately, on that particular day even the order/ pay till did not seem to have a queuing system.
    Suggestions:
    Always reserve.
Do not assume it's first come, first serve.
If not reserved, mark your table, eg by leaving a water bottle.

The Bombora is a lively place. Although the selection of drinks is a bit limited, the attitude of staff and the beautiful seafood and other dishes more than compensates. The staff are always friendly and sometimes on Tuesday evenings a bit of live music has been known to come out of the place. You order and pay at the counter so table waiting is mostly service. This is actually a good thing here as it seems to work. I have seen the order go a bit longer than I would have liked but when it gets long the staff are pretty good about opening up another register to clear it. I always have a good time there and the chefs are not afraid to cook up some thing really special when it isn't on the menu. Highly recommended.

I attended a fundraiser recently and have to say I was extremely impressed. The food was sensational along with the service and staff. Certainly going back to Bombora.

    One not to pass by!
Chef Warren prepared a dish that was simply amazing! It appears hidden in the menu, but definitely worth travelling from Sydney for the experience.
The Pan seated barramundi in tomato and saffron broth, with braised fennel and finished off with a herb salsa. A crispy skin on the barramundi was a delight!

Waited for over half an hour for breakfast after the other two couples we came with had finished.
Very poor as not overly busy.
    Food was average.
Would need to think about returning again.
    Need to lift their game.

Held my Hens lunch at the Bombora and OMG.. it was the best choice ever.. the food was tremendously beautiful and filling.. the cocktails were scrumptious and the dessert just knocked my socks off.. could not have asked for a better venue..The pricing is absolutely reasonable in comparison to other venues and the service was totally awesome and stafg so super friendly.. can not wait to go back for dinner.

Had the best bucket of fresh aussie prawns with homemade seafood sauce I've had in over a decade here. The prawn hotpot was to die for and the staff couldn't have been more helpful/friendly. Loved the view too. Really great stuff guys!

I can't fault the staff, and if I hadn't been so disappointed by the food it would warrant a second star. Alas here is a place that could promise so much more but fails horribly. I ordered a hot cold platter, that was savagely overpriced, I got two undersized lobsters whose flavour was drowned in butter on a bed of rice made inedible by such butter. The calamari had that frozen taste, the bacon was cheap cut. Only fresh oysters and prawns made the grade. The fish was also deep fried and heavily battered, all was served on a bed of frozen chips, there was so much oil seeping from that battered seafood that the chips were soaked and inedible, (and I like chips). The price point deserves better because for a quarter of the price you'd get a better experience (excluding lobster) of calamari chips battered fish and fried prawns. Fresh seafood deserves better treatment.
