We walked past at lunchtime and decided to give it a try. What a great decision. The food was absolutely beautiful. Tender and flavoursome. Very fresh. Good food can not be rushed so enjoy a drink while you wait. The owner was a lovely lady who was very friendly and informative. She was very engaging and obviously was very dedicated in making sure that we were happy with our food and service. I would highly recommend this place. I love Indian food and I have to say that this would be one of the best that I have been to for both service and flavour. If you are in Cairns then this restaurant is a must for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

I haven’t been to Bombay kitchen for 7/8months and had such a good time tonight. The service was incredible! Attentive, friendly and considerate. It’s so rare to have such good service at restaurants these days and we really enjoyed this aspect. The menu is huge and we ordered things we’ve never tasted before. All were fantastic!

Well worth the wait. The goat curry was phenomenal..one of the best we have ever had. The new waitresses were still learning so the service was not impeccable but the food definitely made up for it. Highly recommended this Indian restaurant. Thanks for a lovely night

My family had an absolutely awesome meal at Bombay Kitchen!! We felt so lucky to find this restaurant open on a public holiday and when the food arrived we were SO GLAD that we did. The owners made a special meal for our 11 year old, and three extremely tasty curries for the adults. It was a busy night but we had the best service from the friendly and helpful owners. Can’t recommend this highly enough!!! We are every bite!!!

I went there last night with my friends and the taste of everything which would be ordered by me was delicious by my experience. Loved it. The place was hygienic and clean. Ample amount of seating. Staff were polite to the customers & they were too professional. I refer to dine with your friends, family & loved ones & i bet you will be appreciated it very much .

Went there with friends.. and apparently found my Invigilator and her family too enjoying the place ,comforting for indians to find indian cusine in cairns

Probably one of the worst experience I ever had at an Indian restaurant. This after reading rather high rated reviews for this place. It all started when we were served our order. What's served is not exactly what we ordered. We ordered aloo palak (spinach with potatoes), whereas what we got was palak paneer(cottage cheese with spinach). Service is pretty ordinary. This is not mentioning about a group of 3 disgruntled customers leaving saying they were not seved even after repeated requests for food. They could cancel their orders successfully. But we were not that lucky.

Bottom line? Look somewhere for Indian food. Come nowhere close to this place.

The curries here are outstanding. There's a good amount of spice even in their (Aussie) medium butter chicken and the flavours are very good. Watch out for the chilli garlic naan!

Great little resteraunt in the heart of cairns.

Good sized portions and reasonably well priced. You won't find a better authentic curry in cairns.

Aalo tikki and samosa was really great. One of the best Palak paneer, i ever had. Sweets i have not tried yet but love to taste nxt time. Thanks and best of luck.

Very good atmosphere, we had a very good Dinner. If you are in Cairns pls do visit this restaurant for Indian delicacies. Staff is very polite.

To start off with the owner/chef is one arrogant person. Later we were hopeful of some good food. Guess what! The females who took the order were lousy and not interested. Later when the food came to our table, it was horrible! Tasteless and very spicy Come here and go home to potty.
