Had an awesome meal, the atmosphere was a little uncomfortable, manager lady was a bit of a sour puss, must have had her cranky pants on. Felt sorry for the staff (they were wonderful to us) but she was horrid to them. The staff kept apologizing for her rudenesd.

whent to the boab for sunday lunch , the meal was very good when it eventually arrived , service very slow , there was no reason for the poor service due the fact only 4 tables (11 on 1 table and max of 4 on the other tables ) I won't be back

Yummy food a bit on the expensive side staff are friendly and serve a wide variety on menu. Personally love the pork belly and rib on bone.

I think it's quite a good place. Staff were friendly and in a very large area. You have that area of choice .I have eaten here and the menu is good and the food was good also. Ambience in a place is what I look forward to and The Boab does a fine job

The Boab Tavern surprised me a little, situated in and around a heavily industrialized area I kinda expected a crappy pub, but inside its decorated nicely and had a great team in hand to help out. I guess they are right in saying you should not judge a book by its cover!
We picked up two chicken parmis at $18 a head, a soda water and a coke. Turns out soda water is free which is awesome and the tap Pepsi was $6 a glass or the barman suggested I could get a can of coke for just $3.50 which was helpful and much appreciated!
The food was good although nothing amazingly special, and on the way out we actually saw a few other offers which we might come back to check out. Thanks guys for a nice evening!response / report this review -

Fantastic local tavern featuring tasty meals every day for lunch and dinner , weekly specials too.
Sports bar with pubtab too.

I go for dinner on a regular basis. The restaurant is sectioned off from the main bar area which allows for a peaceful dining experience. Great atmosphere, lighting and décor. Reasonably priced meals and generous portion sizes. Ordered the pulled beef brisket sandwich which was to die for. Would definitely recommend!
