Food was nice, the menu had a good variety. It is a shame it took nearly an hour to arrived. I noticed when asked they would warn of a 1 hour delay, but why not volunteer that information rather than having pissed off customers waiting for so long. Also, give the cashier some customer service training, it's like she barely registers you even exist. Rest of the staff seem OK. Might try again in a few years, they will have either changed hands by then or got their act together in the kitchen. 3 people cooking seemed more than adequate for the number of people. Do they each do individual dishes? They need to learn to run a line when they are more than a couple of customers.

Reply to owner: Not my problem. I am a customer and expect a certain level of service. It's not like it's your first public holiday. Cafe's do well on public holidays and attract new customers, or if the service is bad, have those people go elsewhere next time. Sure, maybe some staff let you down by calling in "sick", or you got more people than you expected. No excuse for not warning customers of a one hour wait.

FANTASTIC staff who always welcome customers with genuine warmth. The coffee is the best in Melbourne and the food is consistently exceptional. The menu is extensive and caters to all tastes/needs. Lovely family run business that is highly recommended. Indoor and outdoor seating, family and dog friendly, right across the road from beach.

Such a little gem. Fast and delicious meals with amazing coffee. Extremely friendly service and very well priced. It is conveniently located across the road from Seaford pier and surrounded by easy access parking.

Excellent soup options for light lunch. Great location near foreshore and station. A laid back vibe. First time visit. Prompt and caring service. Delicious dessert. Not crowded. Sunny outdoor setting out front today.

This restaurant is under new management a the last three times I have been here I was very happy, the the menu has great choices they even do a Scottish breakfast which my husband loves the coffee and food was so good the service was fast, friendly and accommodating and they love children.

New management (and I did love the previous operators too, so there's that!) The breakfast range has widened somewhat, more of an Asian-inspired menu. Again, lovely location and a good place for breakfast or coffee.

This cafe is under new management and they make the best coffee on the strip. Food is always delicious and the staff are super friendly. Definitely recommend this Cafe.
