Food is reasonable but I'd like to local produce and some wines just should not be kept in the fridge

It has a great appeal and the meals were awesome. I was mainly there for the drive but it was a great place to have a nice quiet dinner.

Just exceptional! A shining light in the region that leads in food, service and environmentals. The Chef was even kind enough to make my wife a Vegan creation of their own design, which looked and tasted incredible. I would recommend to anyone and would gladly return. Thank you so very much.

The owners and staff are all very helpful, the food is amazing in a cosy setting and the location is wonderful. We had a beautiful weekend - thanks guys.

Great food, Great service and great fresh cold beers on tap! Pool table, fire place and a local wombat made our afternoon. Stayed the night in one of their room upstairs - very clean. Breakfast included! Coffee was fresh and piping hot! Will be back on the way through again!

Don't arrive when there are a bus load of day trippers in for lunch. First we were herded out of the lounge area in to the public bar. When we returned to the lounge we were told in no uncertain terms that the bus trip was the first priority and they would get to us when they could. They dont appear to be able to cope with a bus load and drop in patrons at the same time. Not my idea of good customer service.

What a wonderful experience! Promptly greeted & shown to be best seat in the house. We watched a kookaburra in the tree as we read the menu. The share plate we ordered was perfect (thank you chef). Being a cool May day, the warmth of the wood fire was welcoming. A big thank you to Jane for making this visit more wonderful than my Japanese guest could have imagined. Big thumbs up!

Right in the middle of tall eucalyptus trees , this place offered a very warm n cosy stay. The brekkie was complementary, we opted for eggs with sourdough bread which came with the sides of sauteed mushrooms n baby spinach, was delicious !! Didnt like the dinner all that much though, almost everything lacked seasoning n flavour, the tomato in the pasta was not cooked properly ,even the chicken nuggets were not cooked properly n lacked any taste. But apart from the dinner, rest everything was just super 👍👍👍 !! Very warm n friendly staff ❤ Looking forward to another vacation 😀😀😀 !!!
