  Best place to go if you want the best camping trip you could ask for. Lovely owners that check on you and make sure everything is going well. Running water, hot showers and plenty of dunny's. No caretakers anymore, just peace and quiet. We went alone (2a, 4c) and ended up chatting with most of the other families and having a wonderful time. A part was missing on our stove and another camper had spares and helped us out. If we could sell up and live there we wouldn't say no. Plenty of little bbqs so find some wood and matches. Family friendly, kid friendly, adult retreat. Have a dog (or a cat - literally someone brought their cat!!) Let the owners know and bring them along. We will be next time!!

  Many thanks to Liz and Ken
  For allowing us to utilise their property for our wedding.
  We had such a great time and the weather managed to come through at the right time as well.
  Great bush setting with the bonus of hot showers and flushing toilets with a rustic appeal.
  Clean and tidy destination for those of you that enjoy camping, bush walks, catching eating yabbies, 4wding on the 4wd track, and just having a good time around the camp fire with friends and family.

  We had a great time at the Black Cockatoo Camp. Our hosts could not have done any more for us as they arranged for our son & daughter-in law marriage to run smoothly with their friendly support.

  Beautiful owner Ken.but the caretakers and Liz treated my hubby and myself with such animosity it had me in tears. Went to use camp kitchen within 30 seconds of being in there I had one camper come in look in the bloody kitchen sink to see what I was doing then he left and the caretaker switched the power off in the camp kitchen and stood beside his car trying to intimidate me, a female. Never ever again. I'm inclined to go see a solicitor that's how upset I am. Didn't want to give a receipt had to approach owner as was told nope we don't give them out. My hubby even went with ken and got wood for us and everyone else & all Pete the caretaker could say is get some for everyone. Pete is lazy and arrogant and I've never in my life felt so terrible for NOTHING!!!

  Well never thought it would be so beautiful the hosts liz and ken are amazing never felt sooooooo welcomed,loved,helped any where else ever👍will go back again and again hot showers the best and flushing toilets at a bush camp omg this place is a bucket list thing absolutely beautiful amazing place 10 of 10 will defiantly be back love you guys ken liz and Peter
